It certainly is prettier and now new members can be added. But we did have more than a days warning we had months which is why other provisions were made. Good thing others made that happen. And don't put PBJ on a pedestal, he screwed us.

I am not going to pick a grade. No point really. This is where we are. It wont change. So enjoy what we have and don't look back.

As for the nastiness, it has happened. But that is everywhere and anywhere you have more than one person with an opinion. It's a part of life.

I like that there is more traffic here, and we can keep adding new members. I also like that most of the threads are discussion based about "things" rather than posted articles followed by arguments. It feels more homey when it's more chatty.

I miss DE though. I wish she had come...

OK folks!  VoR and her poetry has inspired me and I now offer the following (probably really bad) limericks:


There once was a table of Geeks
whose leader took off at their peak
Our Jim we will miss
though some are quite pissed
still trying to process their pique.

There once was a table of Geeks
whose future required a tweak
their leader took off
without a hat doff
but now their new board is so sleek!

There once was a table of Geeks
whose outlook became rather bleak
with Papa AWOL
imagine the gall!
but now our new board is quite chic!

This board is fine. I can't really say that now that the other one is ended and everyone is here "full time" that I really notice much difference.

It still just pisses me off, though, that we were left hanging. Even if the founder of the other board was tired of it, he could have passed it on.
