If you could request a Last Meal

Mine would be Baby back Ribs, home made mac and cheese, baked potatoes with butter and sour cream, and pecan pie with vanilla ice cream.

Go ahead....pretend you're on death row and your stay of execution has been denied....what would you request for your last meal?

Rib Eye (Pittsburgh Style), lobster, mashed potatoes and sweet tea...

This is hard. It would really depend on the day.

It would probably be -

Ribeye (medium rare), baked potato, sweet potato casserole (the one with the candied pecans), green beans, flaky rolls, and awesome chocolate for dessert.

Oh man, probably a big ole plate of my mama's chicken and dressing. She makes the best and it's my all time fave.

If that wasn't available, then I'd have a nice ribeye (medium), baked potato and garlic bread. And a big bowl of Blue Bell vanilla ice cream with a warm brownie, hot fudge and pecans.

Oyster stew, mac and cheese, sea urchin sushi, and for dessert, creme brulee.

My sister loves canned spinach. She will cook it on the stove and eat the whole things down to every drop of liquid. Gross!

I don't know what my last meal would be. It wouldn't contain spinach.

I know this - if I had a last meal, I'd drag it out for as long as I could. Like eat reallyreallyreally slowly. And take tiny bites. I'd try and make it last at least 7 years...lol

I don't know. it would depend on my mood. I don't even know if I would be able to eat.

Probably a little bit of everything. Some Chinese, some Italian, some home cooking. A hodge podge.

And I like canned Spinach too.

Can of spinach, a bit of butter and a dash of cream and top it with some kind of cheese. Yum.

I worked with a nurse who would open a can of spinach. Dump like 20 packs of sweet and low in it and sit there with a fork and eat it straight from the can.

Mine would have 5000 courses, each of which will take 24 hours to eat.

Fresh doesn't last as long.

Frozen is fine but it has a lot of water.

Canned works.

Probably salmon or broiled scallops.

Perhaps a polenta.  And asparagus.

And for dessert, homemade hot fudge pudding with vanilla ice cream.

Or crème brulee.

Well, since I'm gonna die anyway, I'd stuff my face with the fattening stuff ...

fully loaded baked potato (butter, sour cream, chives, bacon, cheese, and garlic)
cheese-laden pizza (as in so much cheese, you'd clog your arteries in one slice)
Olive Garden's zuppa toscana and fettucine alfredo
bbq pulled pork with yummy, buttery rolls to put it on
rich dark chocolate cake
Boston cream pie
Coke
Starbuck's hot chocolate

Mmmmm *drool* :P I'd never be able to eat it all but I'd sure put forth a valiant effort. I love veggies and eat plenty irl but if I'm gonna die ... well, I'm going out with a bang.

I am not sure what I would want to eat.  I don't really eat that much now, and only the same things over and over again.  I don't really crave certain foods.  I am also not big on sweets.  I have to think about what I want to eat every day.  If I cannot make up my mind, I don't eat, or just snack on something small.  Perhaps I would not request a last meal, if I had the choice.

Baked chicken with mashed potatoes and pan gravy. Green peas, corn on the cob. A hot fudge sundae to top it off. No health food for me. LOL

Oooh, German chocolate cake. I forgot about that. Definitely.

How about a meal of all desserts? I could do that easily.
