I do not carry a gun. There are guns in the house I could use if I had to. I've been meaning to get my cc permit... I do carry a nice sized knife, oh the irony if I stabbed him with the knife he gave me! Lol

Today I've used a front-loader, table saw and nail gun. I think I can take care of myself :)

I wish it'd rain here. It was so overcast on Friday then nothing.

DH and DGS got out the old fashioned meat grinder and ground up the left over roast for me. Beef salad sandwiches are now on the menu for the meal after church tonight. Love those sandwiches!!!

 It's a Quaker meeting, about 10 minutes from where I work. I attended a different one 5 or 6 years ago & really enjoyed it. I've been going since June, I think, and DH goes with me when I'm not working.

It's lightyears away from the Catholic faith. For me, it's a nice start to the week. Believe me, being still did not come easy to me at first!

Just got back from eating. I found gas for 2.64. I filled up the van.

Got some hot and fresh doughnuts too! Haven't had them in a while. I remember my pawpaw taking us to Chattanooga to get them way back when I was a little kid. That is the only reason we would go.

We watched them make them for a little while. It was a nice trip down memory lane. Hopefully the boys will have a nice memory now.

Bugles are tha bomb! And yes they have to go on your fingers. How else do you keep up with how many you eat?

I am cat sitting for my pastor while he is out of town. Which means I go over once a day and make sure she has food and water then sit there for a while. I've seen the cat once. This is normal for her. Anyways, someone on the trip with pastor decided to not take their cell phone with them, and left it sitting on pastor's coffee table to randomly make noises and scare the crap out of the already on edge cat sitter

It rained all day here and continues to do so.  We had some flash flood warnings.  Did have to go out today to buy some necessities, so I did get wet some.  It was a good day to stay in, watch the telly, nap and get online.  Fortunately there were no high winds or power outages.  smile
