Czech! Thank you soooo much for the popcorn ball recipe! We had a blast popping the corn on the stove. (Never did that before!) And the boys loved that we mad it green. Our only hiccup (which was a big oopsie on my part!) was that I didn't consider the fact that they are sticky. DS5 is very anti-sticky (he's the one I got the applebutter recipe for since he eats that instead of syrup. Not sure I ever thanked you for that either! He says its way better than the store bought stuff.) He had a minor panic moment when he realized, but the process was so much fun for us, it was a minor deal in the grand scheme of the evening.

LOL, tell him, good popcorn balls have to be sticky to be really really good!

I'm not sure if I added at the end to be sure to have a cold glass of water beside you as you made the balls, for dipping your hands in. to cool your hands and reduce the sticky.

It really is a fun activity for the kids. Our grand's love making the popcorn balls too. Had four of them helping on Saturday. You should have seen the excitement on the two year olds face!

Glad the apple butter recipe worked out for you too! That is exciting! I feel like I'm passing on skills via the net!

Funny story: I have a Facebook with a fake name I use to play FarmVille with. When I was with my last company, one of the people I had an appointment with about his bathroom was a big player and we were talking about the game. I was trying to connect with him more so he would buy. I gave him the name I use to play because he asked to be my neighbor. He didn't buy, I never heard from him again. Or so I thought. I just found 3 messages in my "other" folder from March 2013 about how he was contacted by my boss about coming out to give him a better price and he was concerned about my company's business practices lol

I remember this guy. At the time I really needed him to buy, I was trying to save my job. But now, I'm glad he didn't. He really couldn't afford it, and I knew it.
