My Happy . .. Spent this evening with a friend from the 3rd grade. We were besties as children, lost touch for 25 years and are now back being social. I have very few friends, so I'm grateful to have her!

I forgot to mention the my niece got engaged a few days ago! I am so excited for her! My poor sister now has 2 upcoming weddings and a baby shower for her daughters. Funny part is both daughters are engaged to men with the same first name.

It is. And in the 18 months or so that we have been here, she has learned a lot about the school's history. She gives tours to prospective staff members, and they always say how impressed they are by how much of the history she knows. She is looking forward to using all her knowledge for a concrete purpose.

My niece was like that growing up. She now works for Disney producing, designing, offering ideas. She was just granted a Disney patent for a robotic eye she designed. They sent her to Yale for her Masters. She is going places and all because she didn't give up in the face of failure and did what interested her.

Ohhhhh...I would not mind if DD got a job like THAT when she graduated college!

Right now, she wants to be a special education teacher. A noble pursuit, but a career with a high burnout rate.

I think she will take after dad and become a coach.

She is kind of a pack rat about her work. She keeps everything. I will let her know to continue!

We both used to live in Indy, we used to work together. We have recently reconnected. He unfortunately lives many states away :( but we texted through the whole game. And plan to next week

If it came to that, I would say it's more likely he would relocate. My job is only here, seriously, this location is one of the only places in the world that do what we do. He works for a national chain that has a location here and a few others close. He only lives where he is because his job relocated him. It's not supposed to be a forever post
