My happy today is I was called by a recruiter that I have dealing with. PERFECT JOB! However the commute is the same and the hours may not be as flexible as I have now. But my job will go away in 4 months. I am going to interview and feel the company out on telecommuting a couple days a week.

I still have one year left on my tenant's lease. I'm currently making about $500 a month profit. I may sell at the end of the lease though. I'm really not meant to be a landlord.

You realize that if you sell it to an investor, the fact that you have a paying tenant ups the value.

I think the irises and the tulips will be fine, they are early May. Should be some nice melting tomorrow.

My happy is simple. Got our seeds sown in the pods. Awaiting germination. Should have little green sprouts in about a week, maybe two.

We have a cold snap coming tomorrow. After that, it should be done with.

As most know, J is my son that lives with autism. Today was our end of year IEP meeting.

All his teachers gave glowing reports. Each one talked about the amazing difference in J from his freshman year. Each one talked about how social he has become and how much confidence he is displaying now.

I have been seeing a real difference at home but to hear it from others really warmed my heart.

I am so proud of J. If any of you had known him 6 years ago, you would not recognize him now.

I thank God for this. God alone deserves the glory.

I almost cried. I still might.

When J was in 6 th grade he was so withdrawn he wouldn't talk to any one. He wouldn't look at any one. He wouldn't do his work. Wouldn't take care of basic hygiene. He was so inside himself it was heart breaking. He had no friends at all. Even teachers were excluding him because he was so withdrawn.

He was smart though. He always took tests and made 100s on each one.

I was seriously looking at pulling him out and home schooling him because he was so withdrawn.

Now he is completely the opposite. Has friends, is called on in class to help teach, will take the initiative to approach people. He is a typical 17 year old.

I know I am gushing. Sorry. Just so happy.

We also got the papers to start the process of getting him some scholarships. He wants to study all things linguistics. He is on his way to being a polyglot.

OMG I had put an application in to a major defense contractor. They contacted me today to say they changed the classification in their system and wanted me to re apply. I read the new job description, it is right from my resume. I do have an "in" with this company so I imagine my advocate pushed hard so I could fit the bill and get an interview!
