But, he forgot to get a set of trimming tools for me!

I found a nice set on Amazon, so I ordered them.

Do any of you guys have a Bonsai?

Any tips would be appreciated! smile

This is my last full week of work at my current job. I start June 29th at the new one. The pressure is on for the customer to get me all things I need to finish up and transition. And my BOSS is taking by position. Yeah, things are that bad in the business I am in, the Boss has to become a direct charge person. Anyway, I worked today on setting up new processes easy for anyone to transition in plus it allows access to files that other team members need. Boss coming in tomorrow for a few hours so I can start showing him the ropes. He is a retired military officer, smart, so it shouldn't be too tough.

My dad does Bonsai. Patience is the biggest factor. Give it lots of attention but don't try to force anything.

I weighed myself Thursday morning, last time I was weighed was 6 weeks ago during my annual. I've lost 7 pounds since the annual. Knowing that you weigh the least in the morning, I weighed myself just now, confirmed but also another 7 OZ, so down almost 8 pounds. Only thing I have changed is my eating habits at work. My new job is so busy I barely have time to eat so I pack greek yogurts and fruits and nuts. No time for snacking. i am soo excited!

Congratters to you, IKWTDS! That is a big happy!

My happy is that I saw my PMD today, and she was pleased with my lab numbers. An improvement from my last visit in April of this year. I have been making a sincere effort to improve my health, and I can see the results. The lab now sends a copy of my labs directly to me, so I saw the results yesterday. My weight is still a concern, but I am eating as usual, staying healthy, and getting in some exercise 4 days a week through PT. I feel like life is starting to improve for me, and that is a happy I can live with.

Last night R called and said he was going to work later than usual today due to scheduling, and could he come over and keep me company while I get ready for work? So he showed up this morning and fed the dogs, made me a cup of coffee, helped Dad get his TV headphones set up, talked to me and had me laughing while I put on my makeup and fixed my hair, and made more coffee for me to top off my mug for the office. Then he told me I shouldn't go out looking that beautiful, carried my stuff out to my car and got rid of the trash for Dad before we both left.

He is auditioning for the position of husband, it appears. biggrin
