If her sister had done something really "bad", then I could maybe see it.

From the letter, though, it doesn't sound like that is the case.

I wouldn't be inclined to be so dramatic as the sister--but I'd be hurt, too, if I were purposely excluded from an annual trip with siblings/cousins.

We've had those in our family, before, and while I haven't attended all of them, the invite is there.

The LW is the sister from he11 and is to stupid to figure it out.

You should get off your duff and (a) invite Wendy - AS YOUR GUEST!!! All expenses covered! meals, hotel, whatever, and (b) provide child care for the youngster while Mom is away. And tuck away a few gift cards for her from the stores you know you & cousins will be visiting for her to use!

What a worthless POS you and cousins seem to be. Glad you're not MY sister!

We have had "girls weekends". It has been a while.

In my opinion they were never that much fun. someone was always snarky with someone.

I agree with Amy or Prudie, which ever one, the LW is a horrible sister. she will realize it one day. But by then it will e too late to do anything about it.
