It's officially 2 months until Christmas today!!!!

 

Have you started shopping? I'm almost done.

 

My mother just informed me she bought my girls new flat panels TVs for their rooms with built in DVD players.  Yep.  My mother is crazy.

I am slowly getting it done.

I don't want to be searching and crunch buying at the last minute.

Just a few more and I am calling it done.

Husker, I have bought Christmas gifts in January. If I find something that I know they will like and I have the money, I get it.

I bought three things for my SS. I know what I am getting her. I want to get her so much more. I am only constrained by budget. I was surfing this morning and saw something awesome but I think it's out of my price range. I will have to surf some more. I picked up a few stocking stuffers for the kids but we have not really started. We don't even know what to get the kids. I am stumped on DH this year. He'll probably buy me a bread maker. Who knows. I have most everything I want and need.

Oh I've started, and what I haven't bought I have ideas in my head. Dd;s xmas is about our trip, although I am going to get her perhaps a Kindle Fire or some other electronic. Ds will get something for his house and then a credit toward his debt to me. The rest of family is set because we do a yankee swap. My SS is set except I want one more item; something special just for them. Need to think....

I'm sure there will be other gifts I find I need to buy. That's fine. I'm not stressed.

 'Cause you aren't a Yankee. wink  Everyone participating buys a gift, usually gender neutral and wraps it.  Rules are a minimum dollar amount to spend on the gift.  Numbers are drawn;  #1 goes first and chooses a gift and unwraps it, #2 chooses a gift and unwraps it and decides if they want it or decide to take #1's gift, #3, same thing but chooses if they want their's or #1 's or #2's, and so on.  Then at the end #1 gets to choose from all the opened gifts.  It's a lot of fun and the gifts are wonderful.

I mainly buy for the grandkids. I buy a few things if zulily has good sales. I bought some books at the last Scholastic sale.

I need to start making piles downstairs, so I can keep track of what I've bought.
