So I'm not an expert on posting articles, but I read one that the football championship for Marysville is coming up and the opposing team gave up the championship as a respectful gesture to the fallen team and maimed students (the shooter was on the football team).
I think this is an incredible gesture and really heartwarming, but there were some really harsh opinions on FB that it's stupid and "everyone gets a trophy" and all that.
What do you guys think?

I think a goodwill gesture should be accepted graciously and others who disagree should keep their mouths shut.
