what would your dream job be?

 

It doesn't have to be a job you are trained for, it can literally be anything. No obstacles like who will watch the kids, etc .

 

 

 

I am watching Up in the Air. I would LOVE to travel the country and fire people for a living. I am really good at it, someone has to do it (like being a funeral director - if you don't do it it doesn't mean people won't die) and it has great perks. 

 

How about you all?

I have a friend from highschool who's a pilot with a major airline. We're friends on fb, and I'm frequently envious when I see photos from his frequent international jaunts.

Elphaba - that would be fun! I wonder if they get frequent flyer miles on their trips ? Probably double dipping.

I'd love to be a marine biologist too!

I have said more than once that I want this one job at Lake Winnie.

It is the old tin lizzie cars. this old guy sits in the first curve, under a big shade tree with a fan and a big drink of something and he turns a sign from stop to go. That's it. He has his music playing and can talk to the people in the cars and he always looks like he is having a lot of fun.

I don't know how much he gets paid, but it looks like a fun job.

Squeakers...that would be fun too!!!

If I can't fly around the world and fire people, then I want to hold babies in the hospital. I know they have volunteers who do it. That's my other dream job. People call me the "baby whisperer" because I can calm down even the crankiest baby and put them to sleep.

Lead singer in an established rock band.  Would love to go on tour, do meets and greets with fans, and play venues and large arenas.  I have a background in theatre and dance (performing and teaching), so I am comfortable performing for audiences.

Mellow Momma, my voice is actually my instrument and I like to work the whole stage when performing, but performing is not really a fantasy. I have performed with bands before in clubs, and was well received when I did. I can also do vocal impressions of some singers. I like songs and ballads I can belt out (makes me nostalgic for the days of arena rock!) LOL
