I don't deny that people voted for Obama because he is black, just like I won't deny that people voted for Romney because he was white
During their election there was a lot of "Put the White back in the White House." "Don't RENIG".. and of course, I've never heard of another president who had anything similar to "Birthers" demanding that the current president wasn't born in the US. I think votes for both sides were very racially motivated.

Who are all these people who voted for Romney because he is "white"? More BULLSCHIT and SPIN.

Just because you label it that doesn't mean it's not true.
See you can't stop. You try to tie everything into racism. Yes, Obama should not have taken a step forward without first producing a damn birth certificate. My kid can't play basketball without one but the rules don't apply of course when we talk about Dems. So, don't try to lump that into "racism" when it was a valid question. Disgusting.

By WHO? I never heard such things. It certainly wasn't said by the media, the celebrities or Republican leaders.
As for the birthers - you have a President with a non-American father who did not grow up in the U.S. We have never had such a situation before.

Really flan? Just because you and the Dem party run around screaming Racism at everyone who disagrees with Obama shows how childish and immature they are.
This thread is a great example of why I think we should abolish the 2 party system.
It creates a gang mentality that divides Americans.
Oh baloney. The notion that we want one big slobbering kum by yah isn't how America can or SHOULD operate. Debate, divisiveness and opinion are HEALTHY for a democracy. It is the end of the road as a nation when that no longer exists. It should be a battle ground of ideas and let the best ideas win. The idea that disagreement is sooo disturbing to some of you is really bizarre.

I AM NOT THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY. NEITHER DO I RUN AROUND SCREAMING RACISM.
LL, they have nothing else. They can't run on Obama's record. So, instead, just keep bleating the "racism" crap which is EXACTLY what Squeakers just did while pretending she doesn't.
There are a lot of people that are racist in this country. Some people voted for Obama simply because he was black, some voted against him because he is black.
That does NOT mean that everyone against Obama is racist, which is what the Democratic party pushes and pushes.

You are so right, LGS, no vote against Obama was motivated by his race. None. Only votes for him.
And, you can prove these people voted for Mitt? Oh ok. But, if you want to have a GOOGLE IMAGE battle, I can go paste and copy a bunch of SCHITT to if you have nothing better to do.
And quite frankly - because of all the race baiting CONSTANTLY, it is the sad truth that this country is MORE racist after its first black president than it was before. He was a very poor choice because he was unqualified and inexperienced and people just can't stop talking about his race.

Isn't that what i just said??
Racism is not exclusive to ANY political party. I don't assume someone is racist because they're republican, and stuff like this is really tiring.
And I am not a democrat just for same sex marriage, regarding your last question. But that doesn't mean I support people fingering republicans as racist for going against Obama. Nor does that mean I support Lena Dunham. Or that I agree with everything that the democratic party does or says. Just like I'm sure you don't agree with everything republicans do or say.

Nobody is talking about his race EXCEPT for Dems who bring it up nonstop. They are the ones who only see skin color.

You are much more intelligent than that...
flan
We are going to call you out on it. So, if you want to have an intelligent discussion then you and your leaders and your talking heads need to stop their racism BULLCRAP. Otherwise, we are going to call you out on it.

The problem Squeakers is that the Democratic politicians have no shame in CONSTANTLY bringing up the issue of race and calling Republicans racist. This isn't about someone stupid cow at the mini mart that puts up a racist sign. It's about our country's LEADERS who think it is ok to play that race card over and over and over again to further their agenda.

But apparently you can't connect the dots. I've provided proof that some republicans "see skin color" as well, and you claim only democrats do. Those are obviously anti-obama RACIALLY MOTIVATED stickers, signs, and t-shirts...
You can pretend racism doesn't exist on both sides all day, doesn't make it true.

Once we have a black republican president, you don't think the republicans will do the same thing? Racists are on BOTH sides.
See, this is what I find funny. I don't know ONE Republican that said they weren't going to vote for him because he is black. But I know MANY Democrats that said they WEREN'T going to because he was black. Interesting, huh????

Based upon what has been the history of the past 8 years - if we get a black republican president, the Dems will be claiming they are a traitor to their race. Republicans won't vote for a black republican based on the color of his skin - they will vote for him based upon his policies and political beliefs. I would have voted for Herman Cain in a heartbeat because of his belief in a limited government, and that had nothing to do with his skin color.
