She's adorable, Empy! Love her eyes!

FNW: I thought my son's eyes were going to be blue for awhile. When he was born, his eyes were a very dark blue. They started to lighten a bit then went brown. Now they're going hazel. I can't wait to see what the final color is.

That's funny. I love yellow for rooms, but when we moved into the new house, we had the entire exterior painted "Friendly yellow". When it came to the inside, DH said, no more yellow, so we picked a nice neutral "Jersey Cream" for the main room with really high ceilings. Guess what color it is on the walls. HAH!

His eyes were brown but they're tending towards hazel now. I think they will end up being a dark hazel.
When do baby's eyes stop changing?

DD's kept changing until about 5. Started out deep, dark blue, now they are much lighter with more green in the blue.

She has her mommy's huge eyes. Does she like the headband thingys? I see them on baby girls all the time & wonder if they bother them or not. They look uncomfortable to me.

Spent the afternoon with A at the ER. Respiratory distress. He got a steroid shot and an inhaler. Glad it wasn't more serious.

My kids each have different eye colors.

C started blue and stayed blue.
J started blue and turned brown immediately.
A started blue but his still changes. From a green to a grey to a brown. Just depends on how he feels.

Instead of lunch, we had an early dinner at the hibachi place. My mom had sushi, and I had chicken and shrimp, double soup because even if I was eating restaurant salad this place has icky dressing. I had a strawberry ramune soda. It was nice dinner.

I'm taking BAby J to the ophthalmologist. I was looking at her eyes b/c they look different colors - one is blue and one is gray, but then I noticed that her pupils are noticeably different sizes.

I know a woman with one eye that is half brow and half blue.

I have one eye that is half green and half blue.

A is blind in one eye. His pupils are the same though.

But get it checked. For peace of mind if nothing else.

Thanks! My poor older daughter, look at her holding onto her sister! She was anxious even then, worried she would run off or fall down.

The next year they went as an angel and a devil. We can't find any pics from that year though. Everyone said it was the best costume choice ever!

I took my bra off in the theater yesterday. In the middle of the opera. I couldn't stand it another minute. It went in the trash as soon as I got home. Never wearing that one again!!

My DD has brown eyes. My youngest DS has blue. My older DS started out with blue and at the age of about two the doctor told me they were different colors. Just barely noticeable but sure enough. Over the years they kept changing. When he was about 13 they settled in and one is very clearly deep blue and the other a very green color. People comment on it all the time.

So the drive home took almost an hour...

Lately I've been having problems driving in high winds. The car skitters. It was windy & I decided to get off the interstate, about 6 miles south of my nearest exit. Then I promptly got lost, looking for a through street. I called DH, and I found the right road, but it was closed at 30th St. (I needed 56th St.)

I think two different eye colors is neat!

My eyes are blue with a hazel star around the pupil but I'm the only one in my family with that trait.

Jane Seymour and Mick Jagger both have different color eyes. So do a few other famous people. It's not as uncommon as you think!

It was dark & I was tired. I actually have a fairly good sense of direction, most of the time.
