I got all my errands done yesterday so I don't have to go out.  I'm hoping for a quiet weekend.  What are your plans?

I think we've narrowed it down to about 10 things to do.

Stamp club in the morning
RV show
DD10 has a Birthday party
Church
2 Soccer games
Choir practice
Awana

And DD10 has a project that has to get done.

Morning.

The only plan I have for this weekend is to do as little as possible so this swelling can go down.

Sounds like everyone is going to have a nice weekend.

So glad it is Friday.

Wayne's car is in the shop, so I had the pleasure of taking him to work at 5:10 am.evileye

I need to hit the bank and the liquor store. I also have to take Ares to the Vet to get his stiches out. (Yay, no more cone of shame!)

Mere is going to run to Denton to snag Paul for the weekend. Not sure what we'll do this weekend. Hopefully something fun.

Have a great day, everyone!smile

Very busy day at work today. Will try to just remember to breathe, and carry on through the chaos.

Doing a 24-hour caregiving shift at my parents' house from noon Saturday to noon Sunday. An opportunity to be patient.

I'm grateful DH is coming with me. He's much better at handling my father's toileting issues.

Sunday afternoon should be fun and relaxing. A little planting of bulbs, maybe some football, slow pace.

Hope you all have a great day and a great weekend!

Its the last day of my set!! I'm going to spend 10 hours being fun. I hate having to be the policeman at work and I feel like I get stuck in that role all the time :(

I need to set up a meeting with my grad school advisor, write a paper in the next week and a half, do my grad research work for the professor I work for, clean my house, do laundry, try to remember what I wanted to do with my Auntie this weekend (it was SUCH a good idea ...), call the storage unit that has my stuff and make sure my payments aren't in arrears, pay my student loan, walk the dog, cancel my gym membership (it's in the wrong city), fix my budget ....

Work from home day. After I clock out, I'll be going to the school to be "mystery reader" for #2's class. Each week a parent volunteer to read, giving the teacher a few facts about themselves, and the students have to guess as to whose parent it might be.

Nope ... doesn't fit in my schedule!  I have four days off between sets this week, though.  It should be okay.

Ugh, admitted the QM (Queen mother) to the hospital last night. My weekend will blow chunks. Broke into her house this morning and grabbed supplies.

Morning everyone. I have a 4 day weekend. I really hope the cable company fixes their outage. It will get kind of boring if I'm home for 4 days with no tv. It has already been 2 days.

Trudy, I hope whatever is going on with QM works itself out.

DH fractured his foot. Thank God he has a sit down job and won't be missing any work. He's rather enjoying telling people he fractured his 5th metatarsal. He says it makes him sound doctor-y. The doctor gave us a CD of the xrays for the specialist DH got referred to. I looked at the images last night. Fracture isn't too horrible and is a clean break, so to speak. DH was in awe at seeing the inside of his foot.

The weather changed here and my sinuses are acting up. I hate sinus issues.

Sorry to hear about the hubs foot, chef. Ouch!

Have a good long weekend, Lexxy!

Ares has had a real time with this. Usually the males heal really quickly after neutering. Poor pup.

Yes, but he had a second surgery to take a growth off his hind leg. He got the stiches out today, but they want us to leave him in the cone until Sunday, so he doesn't pick the scabs.

Poor thing probably thinks he'll be in it forever. Oh well, this too shall pass.

Oh right.  I forgot about the second surgery.  Poor thing.  He probably wonders why he got adopted if his people are just going to pick on him.

Today I am running some errands, cleaning the house and going to the school's production of Hamlet.

I hope everyone is having a good day.

Wow! You're brave! I don't think I'd attempt to bath our cats. Happily, they stay clean, and don't need one.

Does Sam enjoy getting a bath?
