Was it really a "cage" with no way out or was it a quiet place?
A lot of special needs kids like small spaces. it helps them calm themselves. They feel safe in them.
So if this was a safe place for the kids to use, I have no problem with it.
I am wondering what she is doing at school with a diaper. I don't think that is ok.

But could the child get in and out of it? Step over it.
And I know a lot wear diapers. That just bothers me period. I know why they use them. I'm not going to point and yell gross.
Heck, I got my kids out of diapers as soon as I could cause I don't like diapers.
I cant explain it. I just don't like the whole diaper thing.

I think that the School needs to be very CLEAR on how to handle disruptive or violent children if that is indeed the case. There should be no ambiguity about what a teacher is supposed to do. Too often, I think Admin turns a blind eye and just tells the teacher to "deal with it".

I totally agree.
This. And parents need to be on the same page too.
