I'm surprised no one injured this flasher.

It's funny, but he is very very lucky no one beat him up.

I HATE pranksters. And if I saw a man flashing little kids, I'd probably tackle him first and ask questions after blinding him with pepper spray.

I had to vote "other" because I believe it was both funny and risky, as well as frightening. Some of the parental reactions show just how frightening it was.

This was all coordinated ahead of time. Each of those people were acting. I would bet money on it.

I'll take a nickel of that bet. I'm certain the kids were not in on it, nor their guardians.

I don't think it's funny. I don't like how it was made out like the parents were nuts. THey all reacted appropriately. I would not have been laughing afterwards. I would have been telling them how stupid they were.

I think it is hilarious. The parents reacted appropriately and then they adjusted their reaction appropriately.

I would have freaked out too. But then I would have laughed my head off and probably set up a cousin or too.

I know they only showed the ones that didn't go really BAD for the "actor"/ perpetrator, but

I have to wonder whether they pulled this on anyone who was armed, maybe defended their kid with a club of some kind, or pepper spray.

I also wonder how a guy walking around in a park with kids there, wearing a bathrobe, wasn't challenged by other adults. Or cops.

Well Ed believe it or not there are places in the world where people do not see a pedophile in every one on the street. These parents were not looking for trouble. When they saw something they perceived as dangerous they reacted. Once they realized it wasn't what they thought it was they adjusted the way they reacted. That is what normal people do.

This was harmless. No harm, no foul.

Some people can't just turn off being freaked out so quickly. I suspect that I could do some damage to the prankster even while (and after) he's showing that he's not actually naked.

Pranksters take advantage of the fact that people think the universe has some order and most things are predictable. They make things different than what people have a right to expect. At best that would be confusing to small children. At worst, this prank might teach kids that some stranger opening up his bathrobe in front of them is not a problem, even if his body language is sending a "gotcha" message.

I see all sides of this. It could have gone terribly wrong. Really wrong. And the parents were right for being angry. But in the end it IS funny. It's very funny. I would be angry at first and then laugh. No harm came to the kids. And if I thought my kids were in danger this would be a good way to bring up things I wanted to talk to them about.

To me, this prank is on the same level as yelling 'Fire!" when there isn't one. It's just not a good idea.

NAOW, I don't know where this was filmed but yes, it could have gone horribly wrong. Here people shoot at will.

Disorderly conduct.

Inciting a riot.

Threatening children. (assault, but not battery)

What else could he (and his crew) be charged with?

As bad as it probably is I still find some humor in it. My husband would definitely disagree though.
