Purging my clothes tomorrow. It will be one heck of a job. I have 4 sizes of clothes, getting rid of the two lowest sizes. I am sort of looking forward to it. I know when/if I lose weight I will want new clothes. Plus it will be a nice donation to the Goodwill.

I just purged a whole closet of clothes that are now to big for me. It was fun shopping for new clothes and I wanted to get rid of them so I wouldn't be careless with my diet.

Momala, I'm sorry but I just saw this. Our next court date is 6/10. I have ALL KINDS OF THINGS to share that have happened but I haven't had the energy to update my "wash that man" thread. More coming soon...

So I cleaned out the tupperware cabinet. Yes There is a ton of actual tupperware in it. Everything else seems to have wandered off. I need to go shopping.

It's already got a ton of stuff in it. We're clearing up the porch and patio. A lot of our outdoor stuff is old and not worth keeping - years in the elements have made it blech. We've lived here 10 years and had most of it that long. So bye bye!!!!

I really need to rent one myself for some yard stuff. It's so hard for me to haul things off. A dumpster for a week wold be so cool.

Yesterday I threw out an old carseat, an old potato bin, nasty clothes, about 100 magazines, and other various junk.

Purging my closets. One large bag of clothes. A lot of the stuff still had tags. I really need to stop buying things I'll never wear. I have 5 bathing suits. I just can't bring myself to get rid of any.

I've been purging old furniture. Some of it is living at Conor and Jessi's house. wink

Some of it, will get put on the curb for bulk pick up next week. (Our old sofa from the family room, fell apart when the guys wrestled it out of the house. It's sitting in pieces, in the garage. Just waiting for the trash man. biggrin

And, some will go to Good Will.

We're lucky, NAOW. First Monday of each month, you can put out old furniture, mattresses, appliances, etc. (Nothing toxic.)

The bulk truck, with a crane attached, picks it all up!

We have taken 5 carloads of stuff to the church this week for the yard sale and both are cars are packed this morning. It feels so good to have all that stuff out of my house. And it's not coming back - whatever is left is going to Goodwill.

OK, I was really good. We sold a ton, and the rest was loaded on a trailer and taken to Goodwill. YAY! And I only got 2 things - a new coach purse (that I traded baby clothes for) and a 31 wine cooler new with the tags for $3. It holds 4 bottles of wine - who could resist that????

My father left a bunch of stuff in a storage area near me. I told him not to do that because he would pay more for the storage than the things are worth. Well now he want me to clear it out. I have to go see what is in there and the shape of it. I know he stupidly left old pics and such he doesn't want to part with but I do want to store them. That is an issue since I don't have heart to get rid of them. There is also some nice furniture pieces. Thinking of calling Goodwill and asking them to send a truck.

So I guess I have a bit of my father in me. OMFG, 30+ pairs of pants, 5 suits, 6 sweaters, tons of sweatshirts, and countless tops, many NWT. Plus about 8 ****tail dresses. Yeah guestimate is about 10K. I'm sick. I still haven't done my drawers yet! I.m sure there will be 20 more tops and many sweaters. I have to fit this all in my car now. Well, have to bag up first.

And they have been brought to GoodWill.

But my closets are fairly organized, I can see my clothes, they are not crammed in anymore.

New shoe shelf put together and filled with shoes. It's embarrassing to see how many I have. I remember when I was married. I had 2 pair. I was told that's all I needed and he had me so mentally beat down I felt I wasn't worthy of anything more.

I thin down all the time, purge if I have not used it. I have some things around that have special meaning, but nothing "just because"

I need to lock myself in my closet til I do a deep purge in there! I plan to do that this winter on a cold evening when I am not drawn outside to enjoy something else!

when my kids were little they had to get rid of or give away whenever they got a new one, it helped keep the toy number realistic. I had to make myself do that with shoes, I WAS crazy nuts with shoes, now I have two pairs of flip flops, one pair of tennis shoes, and three pairs of HD riding boots and a pair of snow boots. and it is not as hard as I thought it would be. I purged lots of doo dads, older towels that we never used, some I saved for rags, and then da dum dum da
I made myself go through my underwear/bra/socks drawers and get rid of those I would NEVER ever wear, but kept you in in case they stop making them....all the washers *in the whole world break* or other unknown crazy reasons, and it is so nice to reach in and know that whatever pair I grab will be fine, not one I needed to put back in and fish for a better one

So now I have to purge furniture. I have my coffee table and end table being replace next week, Plus I still have a gorgeous cherry entertainment center to get rid of. I'm going to call Goodwill and see if they will pick them up. I finally have room in my garage to store them until they are picked up.
