Ohfour, be prepared to have chipmunk cheeks for a day or two afterwards.

I remember when I had mine pulled. I was in my early 20's, and had all four taken at once. The next day there was a street festival, and I decided to go. I thought I looked so horrible with these swollen cheeks, then some guy walked up to me and gave me a rose...said he thought I was really pretty.

I swore I would not get on the boards until I finished one of two projects. I did it!!! Took all darn morning, but one is done!
Ohfour, take good care of yourself! Let G spoil you rotten. Take the pain meds!!! And, heck, I smoked when mine were pulled, shh.
DD will have all of hers surgically removed in December. Pray for me. She almost choked to death the last time she had teeth removed surgically. It was not a good experience. no

O4, I had my wisdom teeth and a molar removed the day after Christmas when C was 3 months old.

I wasn't smoking at that point in time but I did get a coke on the way home.

Biggest mistake I ever made.

And you will need G that day. Especially if they put you to sleep. I could not drive myself home.

Take your pain meds on time. Don't let that pain get ahead of you.

If you are taking the pain meds and you are still hurting call and tell them you are on your way to the office. Don't ask for an appointment. Just tell them you are dying and on your way. They will meet you at the door with Novocain. I blew a clot and that pain was worse than all the other pain I have ever had combined in my life. A dry socket will put you on your knees.

So do what you have to do to follow the rules. Get the patch, don't do the carbonated drinks, take the meds religiously.

I'll be praying for you.

I had a lot of bruising with mine. And the edges of my mouth was torn a little. Not a lot but it was like they had been really dry and cracked. But both my cheeks were a lovely shade of purple alone the jaw line for several days.  Of course I bruise easily.

Then it had to do the sliding thing down under my jaw line and turn all those lovely colors.

I have a small mouth so my wisdom went soon after they came in. I got dry socket with the lower ones. Lily is not kidding when she says it will put you on your knees. My upper ones didn't come till something like 8 years later. I was scared of dry socket again but avoided it, thankfully.

Z-Dog is losing his mind over his Kong. there are two (soggy now) bits of treat left in it and he can't get them out. They keep getting pushed to the back of the kong where he can't reach them. He's literally stamping his feet!
