I am packing freshly ground coffee in my checked luggage for vaca. Hope they don't think I am trying to smuggle drugs!

Well, it is glass. And, putting hot water in glass can make it crack. I was VERY careful with it and cleaning it and so forth. And, when I would go to use it, I would fill it with warm water to warm it up and then dump it out and add my coffee and hot water. So, I think that is what happened. I found a stainless steel one I might order.

Sounds like that company didn't use a high temperature glass like Pyrex or something of that nature.

I once went on a group ski trip and whoever was in charge of coffee brought decaf instead of regular. Nobody told me for 4 days. I couldn't figure out why I felt like crap every day after my morning coffee. Turns out I was detoxing . . .

Decaf! Yuck! Btw most coffee is decaffed with methylene chloride which actually raises your cholesterol and blood pressure. No thanks ever! There is a swiss water extraction method but have never seen any decaf claiming to use that.

Decaf coffee is pointless. I've tasted several different decaf versions, none of them taste like real, actual coffee. They all tasted more like polluted water. If I want coffee, I want COFFEE.

I love decaf. Drink it morning, noon and night. Can't tolerate the caffeine.

I drink coffee for the taste, not for the rev.

Have to be choosy, because at some places the decaf really stinks.

But I found a place that has amazing decaf.

Flame me all you want.

To brew at home, I like Melitta.

For good takeout decaf, I like Green Mountain Coffee from Vermont.

Many convenience stores have it here in New England, don't know if other states have it.
