I can't sleep because I'm worried about a large financial decision that I have to make tomorrow.

Ok. Had coffee. About to get out of my car and go into the building. The hospital sits on a river and on the other side is a huge salt marsh which equals a wicked nasty cold wind. Gotta walk through the parking lot and cross a 4 lane highway. Whine...gonna freeze. 35 degrees with 25 mph gusts.

Good morning.

It's 23 here. No wind right now but it was blowing enough during the night that the windows are not frozen over. And hopefully all the roads are dry.

Monster reluctantly went out to do his business. It didn't take long. There was no saying good morning to all the other critters this morning.

Day 3 with all the grand's.
Up at 6:30 with all of the kids. Dogs taken outside. Kids dressed, feed and out the door before 7:30. Baby is about ready for a nap. The four year old has more freakin' energy then is possible IMHO.
I worked yesterday. Got home, we made supper (taco's), had a dance party and played charade's. Grandma's house is not fun! Don't tell lies! For some reason they think we are going to do something fun again tonight. Hmm, I may have a problem... lack of energy. wink
Oldest DS and Papa chased a raccoon out of our garage last night. That was their fun. Gosh. Wild men, I swear.
SIL's mom died last night. They didn't get there in time. Breaks my heart for SIL. cry
I had forgotten how much laundry a bunch of kids create... no

Need to read all the post, sorry, don't have that done yet.

Hope it's a good morning for everyone and please, stay warm all northern folks! -6 here this morning!!

I'm sorry to hear about your son-in-laws mom. It's sad that they didn't get there before she died. I will keep him in my prayers.

 That sucks.  I had mine done back when I was 18.  I didn't follow doctors orders & smoked anyway.  Luckily I didn't get any dry sockets.

It's noon and still only 28 degrees. I am not going out unless I have to. Yes. I am a spoiled southerner. I don't like the cold!

My TV isn't working. Well it works but says there is no signal. The other TV works. Strange.

O4 I am so sorry about the possible dry socket. Cold will hurt it, heat will hurt it. Don't wait until you cant see straight. Go now.

Czech, the grands don't have to be entertained constantly. Get them working on something for mom and dad for when they come back. A little skit or something. Making cards or pictures. And play-doh will keep a kid occupied for hours.

Sounds like everyone is plowing through their day.

Most tv's now have remote controls, and one of the buttons is for "INPUT" The tv can get signal from an antenna connector, "line in", "front", "back" or others. 

Try slowly cycling through the input options. Press the INPUT button once, wait a few seconds, and see what changes. Do that again until you have your signal back.

Note, it can take a few seconds to find the signal, so each time you change the INPUT setting, give it a few seconds to look.

First, look for any disconnected wires or cables behind the TV, and make sure the connections to your cable box (if you have one) are secure.

Then ...
