I don't have to leave the house till 7:30 today so I was excited to spend an extra hour in bed. I wish someone would have told the dog's bladder. Grrr. She got me up at 5:15. It's cold. But! Gonna be in the 60 ' s today. Yay!

Have fun in Savannah. I'm going to work a little late because DD has a 4 hour dental appointment so I am dropping her off and then heading in. I tried getting the day off but it just didn't work out. Just going to stay until she's done and then get her and go home.

Am I wrong to think that if you are old enough to drive yourself to the dentist you are old enough to wear something besides pajamas? This young lady, I'm guessing around 18 was meeting her grandfather there to see about getting a consultation and was wearing pjs. Didn't even have an appointment. Seriously. It's 8 am. Get dressed.

While the boys are in their religious education classes Mr. FNW & I go out for coffee and bagles. I'm always amazed at the state some of these people...kids and adults...are in when they come in for their morning coffee/breakfast. Most look like they just rolled out of bed.

Oh grrrr! DD went out in my car to carry something in and didn't lock it. Someone too all my quarters. I keep 2 - 3 bucks in quarters for emergency sodas and parking meters and it's all gone!

LOL, this should have been the "soda free Thursday" thread.
I can go weeks without drinking a soda.
Now coffee, that's a different story. That is a survival beverage, or you (not me, you) will die.
Day 5 with the five grand's. Why do kids love to slide down the stairs on their belly? They sound like a herd of elephants. Or run down the stairs covering in soap and nothing else? Yeah, the six year old did that last night. Five kids, two dogs and one cat in the same bedroom, at the same time, is not a good idea. They were trying to catch the cat. He didn't want to be caught. I'm surprised the bedroom survived.
All the laughter and giggles are amazing, and worth every single minute of frazzle.
I hope everyone has a good day today. Life is good, very good indeed. smile

You can have anything but my coke. I went without it for almost a year. It was the most stressful year of my life. Not kidding. It was harder than quitting smoking.

I talked to my doctor about it. Told him how hard of a time I was having and he told me it wasn't worth the stress it was causing and to drink the coke.

I think I need a 12 step program.

Here's my day so far.

Someone stole money from my car.
Boss was bitchy to me.
Waited for DD at dentist forever (teeth look great!).
Credit card was declined at lunch, freaked me out thinking I was hacked.
Phone had died so I couldn't check it immediately.
Got home, someone forgot to pay cable / internet bill so it was off.
Got phone on charger and used 3g to go to CC website and it wouldn't let me log in.
Got some chick on the phone who spoke very broken English.
She wanted to argue with me.
Hung up on her.
Everything is fine now. Lol. Bill is paid, wasn't hacked, not sure what happened.

We pick up SS tomorrow. I talked to Satan about keeping him over Thanksgiving last night. She said, "Let's make it clear that if you keep him for Thanksgiving you have no rights to him for Christmas." I told her I doubted that DH was going to be home for Christmas but even if he was we'd make other arrangements. I swear, sometimes I feel like I'm negotiating for property and not a child.

I was going to go to Zumba tonight but I may just get under the covers and try to be a human again tomorrow.

Oh, and I got a text from my sister while at the dentist and my Aunt has had a stroke. I'm not sure of any details of her condition yet. Apparently it happened more than a few days ago. My dad just got an email from her. She is my mom's sister and she and my dad were close after mom died until dad met someone and got married. I guess Auntie thought dad should be alone forever. I was the only one who was happy for him.
