TOTALLY GEEKED!

I have to wonder if this family was estranged because of this. That being the case, the parents may not have told everyone - and it was easier for them to do this rather than explain.

And while you are just horrified by the "lack of respect" these parents showed - it should be remembered that they buried their child, who grew up and was raised a boy, and those are likely their fondest memories. I mean, any child that takes the path you don't like or approve of, you still remember them as the cute 5 year old that would lick the beaters and ask endless questions.

Nobody has to LIKE Husker's opinion, or even Husker himself, but it's hypocritical to constantly bitch about his arguing and posting style while attacking him.

 I didn't say he was a victim.  BUT, he is almost always talking about the OP, and when people don't like what he says, they take it as license to attack HIM.  His only post was about the subject, and people came in insulting HIM.  I'm pointing that out now b/c when he retaliates, I'm not going to care.

 We are on THIS thread.  And yes, as I said ALREADY - nobody has to like his posts, and feel free to call them stupid just as he does everyone else's.  But that is not what was happening, so I wanted to point that out early before it got ridiculously derailed.  Like when adult women apparently swooned because he called the subject of an OP a terrible name they didn't like and tried to say he called them that, when he did not. 

But, I agree LL, there are some posters here who are whiners about how others post. That somehow their opinions are fine but others are not.

Well, if I don't like the way someone posts, so what? I don't see the point of going on to whine about how they are posting. I can either tell them to buzz off, argue back or just ignore them. But, I post the way I choose to post. And, I love when people tell me I should 'try to post this way or that way". Um no, I say exactly what I mean and I mean exactly what I say. And, if someone choose to infer something from my "tone" or my way of saying it, that is on them.

For the record I was definitely commenting on Huskers posting style. I think Husker often has wonderful points but when he starts with the swearing and insults it's like arguing with a child. I don't argue with children so my point was to let him know he sounds like a pouty child. He obviously doesn't see it and LL can defend it until the end of days but just once I'd like to see him argue like an adult.

His opinion IS his reality as is yours. I just hate to see him ruin every good argument he has by being rude and intimidating rather than giving a valid point of view in a thoughtful manner. If he can tell others their arguments are stupid then I am allowed to tell him his posts are juvenile.
