Lol, I've spilled stuff on my pets before. They take it so personal. Not doing much of anything today since I'm on call. Just puttering around the house and a little laziness.

I know, right?
I just realized that it COULD have been worse. I always drink my diet Coke in a glass, but they were dirty so I used a plastic cup. I could have been picking up shards of glass in addition to ice cubes & Coke.
Welcome to winter! Have our first 5th grade elementary girls game today. Then, later I have to take DD out to get her some clothes for her upcoming band concert.
Expected high of 78 here. Day two of the fair. Beautiful fair weather. We'll be leaving in about twenty minutes if I can steam roll DH out of bed. We'll be spending 11 hours there today.

The kitchen if finally back to normal here. Gosh, I think we had every piece of glass used at one time or another. I feel like I've restocked a china cabinet TWICE!
NJN, hope the 11 hours go fast, that is way to much time for me to spend at a fair. I would have bleacher butt in about 2 hours.
Flan, glad the cup wasn't glass. You had enough of a mess to clean up.
DG, a Christmas parade sounds like a lot of fun, enjoy!
LGS, enjoy the game and the shopping. Sounds like a fun day for you and DD.
IKWTDS, 16 degrees, that was our temps earlier this week. Today we get into the 60's, tomorrows high will be 27. Go figure. Enjoy the day!
Good morning LL, SB and Dona!

Do you see a theme?
Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.
We slept in. Way in. C is still snoozing. She has been going a lot lately so she needs the rest.
Have a load of towels in the wash about done and ready for the dryer. Just going to hang around here and wash clothes today.
I woke up to find that C and I are the only adults here today. Love how no one thinks to ask if I mind having 2 extra kids. "Lily wont mind, don't worry about it."
I will have to find something for them to do because they will get on my nerves.
When the living room is finished later today I will post some pictures.
I couldn't spend that much time at a fair either. But you have fun. Are you taking pictures?
At least the diet coke isn't sticky. That's always a plus.
I think our Christmas parade is next weekend. I love a good parade.
I don't care for Bball that much but little kids playing are always fun to watch. Hope you have a safe and victorious game.
I don't know what the temps are outside but apparently we are going to meet my mom for a late lunch. Dad is going to be working on the house and it is always better to just stay out of his way.
Hope everyone has a great day.

After morning appt I went shopping, I have a few things left to get for DS, a Yankee swap, the dog, and that is really it. Took the dog for a long walk so he is snoozing now. About to build a fire. I did forget to bring some on my purge items to the donation place. I may just do that tomorrow. I may go out later, not sure, still a bit sore from my fall the other night.

11 hours at the fair! I am tired. I am sunburned. But I had a wonderful day out there. Five classes and a concert. It's so gorgeous out there. At one point DH and I sat down on a wooden bench under a shade tree in the middle of the herb garden. He went and got us home made ice cream. We sat there and ate our ice cream and talked. It was so beautiful, serene, and peaceful. I thought so much about HM. I wanted to put that slice of the day into a box with a pretty bow and send it to her. I don't know how anyone could be sad sitting there looking at all that beauty. I thought every time she gets down she could open the box and bring that moment out. I wish I could have captured it.
We went to the evening music session. An hour and a half of the most beautiful songs. They did some blue grass. Then some classical. And of course gospel. Really really really beautiful voices. Did I mention they had a full orchestra? Over a hundred people between the choir, orchestra, and the others. They had harps, accordions, harmonicas, bangos, fiddles, guitars (both electric and regular), a washboard, and even some maraca's. It was so neat listening to all that music. Very inspiring. You should have been with m!e today HM!
We're going back tomorrow for a short day. Two more classes we want to go to. So much more we'd like to see but just can't fit it all in.

Thank you, NJN. Reading that made me cry, but not because I'm sad - because someone cares.
I CARE! Too bad you couldn't have been in my pocket to share the day with me!
