I went out for a bit. I bought some things for the house at Lowe's - I got one of those cool space heaters for the basement that looks like an old cast iron stove. And I got a new shower head for the bathroom, a rain shower head with a center part that comes out to be a handheld.
I went to Lifeway and got a couple of copies of "God's not Dead" and some new music and some kid's DVDs for the Awana store.
I got a few stocking stuffers at Justice and some new clothes for the girls at Kohls.
That's about it.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
2 pairs of boots.
A really pretty dressy dress.
A pack of Clinique lip glosses.
An electric skillet.
A big fleece blanket.
Friday
I got some Christmas socks at Kmart (annual tradition)
A surge protector thingy for the kitchen (it plugs in and turns 2 sockets into 4)
And some batteries.
Some cheap decorations at the dollar store.
A friend's computer died, it's probably the power supply.
So I went looking for a Windows 7 computer, since it seems everyone hates Windows 8. I didn't see any new Windows 7 computers online anywhere, they're all Windows 8 or 8.1 .
One local store has refurbished computers, and had some with Windows 7 that weren't too old.
But before going there, I went to Costco, just in case THEY had anything with Windows 7. My kids had been strongly recommending Dell or Lenovo.
So I walked into Costco, and the computer aisle is right by the entrance.
There they had ...
two Dell tower computers with Windows 7 installed, and free upgrade to Windows 8.1 .
WIN!

I don't buy much anymore. Our parents are gone. My sis and decided years ago to not exchange gifts since she lives in Kentucky and mailing each other gift certificates didn't seem to make sense. I buy a few things for DH. And, for the kids, I pretty much buy them one big ticket item and not much else. They would rather me buy them a Smartphone and get nothing else than lots of other things they really don't want. I will probably just get them a few clothes. DD wants a laptop and Ugg boots so that is pretty much it. Maybe a few small things. And, for my BIL and SIL we get them gift certificate to a restaurant.
C was at Wal-Mart at 6 yesterday morning for her volunteer shift to ring the SA bell. She said it was no busier than any other day. She said one of the workers she was talking to said Thursday afternoon was a made house though.
I ventured out to Hobby Lobby about 4ish. There were more people there than I thought there would be.
Let's see. Yesterday I bought a couple cheeseburgers for lunch and then some new ornaments for the white tree and on the way home so Bojangles for dinner.
So most of my black Friday was spent buying food. LOL!
