I went to Mockingjay Part I today. Alone - sort of pathetic but I wasn't missing the damn movie because I don't know enough people in this city to convince someone to go with me.

We saw it on Wednesday. I hate when they break a book into two parts. Grrrrr.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

I need to go read the book again. I didn't remember a bunch of stuff!
I braved Costco this morning because I needed another case of cup noodle ramen to take to work (I am totally out). That's all I bought. Both main aisles were backed up 3/4 of the length of the building by two lines of shoppers waiting to get to the registers. It was quite a long wait in line. Fortunately everyone was civil. They had all sorts of weekend specials from their holiday savings books and some snacks I really wanted, but could not buy. Went straight home after that.
G and I went to see Gone Girl this afternoon...he finished the book this morning. We haven't been to a movie in forever. We're homebodies. He liked the movie as much as the book. It was very well done. Highly recommended
I've read all 3 of her books & had to force myself to finish Gone Girl. I loved her other two, though.
