Any Symantec fans here?

I used Norton SystemWorks Pro for several years. It included Norton Anti-Virus, Norton Utilities, and backup and restore. All of them worked fine.

Then

they discontinued it. The replacement was Norton 360. It does all the same things, but more automatically, in the background while the computer is idle. I like it.

Now they're discontinuing 360 for 2015, replacing it with Norton Security. Norton Utilities is purchased separately. Backup/restore seems to be unbundled too.

 

So I have a few months left on my Norton 360 license, and I'm helping set up someone else's new computer. There are "Black Friday" deals through Amazon, through tomorrow.

Norton 360 2014 with 3 licenses is available. Or for $5 less, Norton Internet Security with a bundled $10 gift card.

 

Any ideas?

I have Norton 360 at work.

DH, who works in IT, uses Avast on all our computers at home. The free version.

My internet provider gives me free Norton or McAfee, which ever one I want.
