Trying to cram2 days worth of work into one day - and I am kicking butt.
Hope everyone has a great Tuesday. I refuse to look up the word of the day, I am going with the Tab drinkers coalition idea.
Late shoppers - don't feel bad. I have only purchased stocking stuffers. That's all. There is plenty of time!

I went shopping, finally. (I know what you mean, MM!)
Mere was already done. Wayne and I got her gifts a couple of weeks ago. (And then, we/I took a break.)
Conor is done. I ordered the flashlight he wanted from Amazon, and got him the gift cards he wanted.
Paul, is almost halfway there. I still need to get a few more things.
Jessi is done. I got her everything on her wish list, and found a couple of surprise gifts, and still have money to spare. She'll also get a check, for some after Christmas shopping.
I may go out again, tomorrow. Finish up Paul.
And then, I can focus on the treats we make for our neighbors.
Now Wayne, hasn't given me a clue.
And, I haven't given him a clue, either.
There just isn't anything that I want. I'm thinking, Wayne feels the same way.
I'd rather hold out on gifts, and go see another concert. (We had such a good time when we went to see James Taylor.)
My only worry is.......if I run this by him. And he agrees. That he would still go out at the last minute, and buy me something. And, if I didn't, I'd feel like a jerk.
What to do? What to do? (Besides, slamming my head against a wall.)

FWM, I know exactly what you mean! DH and I are not buying gifts for each other this year, or more exactly, that's what we said. But, DH made a run to a nearby town on Sunday and came back in a very gleeful mood. I am now suspicious...
So, I will join you in slamming my head against a wall.

I am back from errands and exhausted. Bad drivers and crazy mean people in Target. Whatever happened to the spirit of Christmas? Insane. I have so many gifts to wrap and I have no energy to do all the wrapping. Nothing planned for tomorrow. Maybe I can get some done then.

I know our economy (I guess) benefits from all the buying at Christmas. But in my heart, I wish we would go back to hand-made gifts instead of this insane rushing/spending/grumping that Christmas has become. I don't mean you, NJN, I mean those crazy, mean people.

Honeys, you will like this!
Mere is a pretty good artist. She is drawing pictures, of Wayne's favorite birds, to put up in his office.

CRAP! That just reminded me that I have no wrapping paper! I got my nephews ITunes cards and want to wrap them in big boxes. Didn't think about the actual wrapping paper. Need to send someone to get paper. I'll be so glad when I have the strength to go shopping myself.

He is going to love it!
Is there a treasured pic of you and Wayne? Maybe one with you and your kids?
If Mere can draw it, that would be a good gift for him, I think Y'know, if he runs out and gets you something last minute.
Oh, I know HM. I was waiting in line to return something and there was a lady just standing there with her kid in the cart. She wasn't in line. I don't know if she was waiting on someone or something else. But she was standing by the doors. Her little boy was screaming bloody murder and kicking the cart. He looked like he was about three. She was standing about three feet away texting on her phone. I didn't say anything. The Target employees were all really super nice. I was just there to return something and pick up some prescriptions and some gluten free lunch meat. So I really didn't have to deal with too many people. But the driving is insane. It gets too crazy at this time of year.

DH and I are trying to get everything done so we can have about a week of nothing to do. We're hoping we can concentrate on wrapping then. It doesn't really do any good to wrap too soon with the dogs anyway.

So do I! That's something he'll treasure the rest of his life.
So I went shopping for myself tonight...got some clothes that I need and finished up the Christmas decor for my dining room. I will post picts in a bit. It turned out better than I imagined. Just in time for guests tomorrow!!!
