To sell or gift - My Little Pony

So, going through my gift bins, I found a My Little Pony set that I bought on clearance a few years ago and then never gave to DD10 because she outgrew it.  I can give it to Baby J now, she loves My Little Pony, but she hasn't asked for anything like this.  OR, I can sell it on Ebay.  It's older, discontinued and mint in the package and others are listed for over $50. 

Decisions, decisions......

If it was $500 or more, then maybe you might sell it and put the money into someone's college fund.

But $50 one way or the other won't change you life, and probably won't bring you any happiness.

I agree completely with Czech:

I'm thinking of all the pleasure you will get from watching Baby J play with it. Priceless.

Every time I think I find something that would be worth a good bit of money I keep hearing the words from the Pickers and Pawn Stars saying "Just because something is old or rare, doesn't make it valuable".

Baby J would have more fun with it.
