A flock of flirting flamingos is pure, passionate, pink pandemonium-a frenetic flamingle-mangle-a discordant discotheque of delirious dancing, flamboyant feathers, and flamingo lingo.
I keep forgetting that it's wednesday. I thought yesterday was Wednesday, which makes today Thursday of course.
SB-good luck these last few days. I'm the totally opposite. I started my job in September, so I still have plenty of deductible left. I'm pushing everything I can to January.

If we all agree it's Thursday, will that make it so?
Gifts wrapped. Work Secret Santa stocking complete and stuffed; only need some garden seeds to round it out. Finished the hooded infinity scarf for my brother's girlfriend, and just need to hit Shoppers Drug Mart to print off a photograph of my grandfather for my grandmother's gift. And done.
Bonny - that pic made my day! Your family is beautiful. Enjoy these days.
I am working later again today to make up for Monday's laziness. I can do this!
Last night, I took DD to get her nails done for Christmas Dinner at school. The last day of class before break, they have a "fancy" dinner with all the staff in attendance, cloth table cloths, gorgeous decorations, etc. The boys wear suits and the girls wear you-know-what-tail dresses. It's quite adorable to see everyone dressed up and so excited for the holiday. One of the well liked staff members dresses up as Mrs Clause and passes out silly gifts to some of the seniors. We have a girl who is quite a klutz, she is getting a first aid kit, things like that. Next to prom, this is the biggest dress up even we have and the kids look forward to it all fall term. I will post a pic tomorrow after she gets ready.
Last night I also helped DH. He had a candidate in for an open position on his staff and we took her out to dinner with a few other staff members. Being a spouse at this school is kind of like being a First Lady. You don't have any power or a salary, but your presence is required at all kinds of functions. It's exhausting.
Tonight I need to wrap the few gifts I do have and make a list of what I need to buy so when we get to Ohio I can just blitz it out.
