We have been at the same temp since 7 this morning. It is 43 and it will either rain or snow tonight. Depending on the temps.

2nd day at work, and I really need to make a list of things to do to get ready for work. I forgot my water, forgot my phone, just feel like I'm not prepared. At least I'm only here for about 2 hours. I really need to get into a new routine. Haven't had one since October.

Guess who showed up at my door? Ms. Marley, the english mastiff I babysit. She ran away to my house....again. lol. She's currently laying on my feet chewing ona rawhide bone.

One of the families of a senior girl on DH's team brought us...

Freshly cooked lobster that was caught off the coast of Nova Scotia yesterday!! I am SO excited I can't wait to get home!!!

This family is my new favorite!

 Your DH is the coach?  That makes a little more sense.  I thought sh was just a teammate of your daughter's.  Either way fresh caught lobster is out of this world delicious!!

My Christmas display is almost set up! I just have to add the little ceramic tree. And my SS Box . . . when it gets here. I unpacked the box I got on the bus yesterday and put up the stockings and the little gifts. There was also a cute fleece blanket with a Christmas scene (dog sitting by fireside) and I'm not sure if it is for me or the dog! I'm keeping it.

My electric tree-topper angel is here too . . . she's sitting on a shelf. She is about 15 years old. An ex-boyfriend got her for me way back in the day. I'd forgotten about her till I pulled her out of the box. I guess my mom's been keeping it - and decided she's tired of storing my crap!

One of my Ikea pieces is built (3 more to go) and I'm taking a dinner break.

 We just finished it! Amazing! There were 4 lobsters after we gave DH's #1 some for his family. We ate this 2 biggest and put the 2 smaller ones in the freezer. We are leaving on Friday morning and with Christmas dinner tomorrow we won't get to them.

 

I am thinking lobster bisque, lobster risotto...

Lobster bisque is awesome. I make a great one. Leave the lobster meat as bite sized pieces, do not pulverize it in a processor.

DH and I recently went to Sweet Tomatoes. He likes lobster and got a bowl of their lobster bisque. He complained about it being spicy. I looked at the placard and it said CURRY Lobster Bisque. Apparently, he skipped right over the first word. I mean, it's not like curry should be a clue that it's spicy or anything ...
