Does anyone else notice a perception Vs. reality gap about themselves, or notice it in someone they're close to?
What I mean is this: When I'm hungry and I look in the mirror, I often appear "thin" to myself (as in "Woo hoo, go for the gusto, you skinny woman!"). When I'm full and I look in the mirror, I often appear "heavy" to myself (as in "You big ol' heifer - how could you have eaten that much? No more food for a week!").
Am I the only one who does this? Am I actually revealing deep, psychological issues, LOL?
When I am in a good mood, I feel like I look prettier. When I feel sick or sad, I think I look gross. Kinda the same sort of thing?
Pretty normal, too. I think.
What age do u " feel"? In many ways I still think of myself as 12. Like oh yeah I can jump on that skateboard and careen down the hill. But last time I tried that , I fell off and cracked my head off the asphalt and tore up my jeans with a serious case of roadrash. Lol

OW!
Because of all the stress, I feel old right now. But when I feel good, I feel much younger.

Yep, last time I hopped on a snowboard to go down a hill, it was NOT pretty, but DH thought is was hilarious!

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
I have old/young thing. We were talking about this over lunch today. When you dream about yourself how old are you in the dream? I am always in my 20s. My coworkers all said the same thing.
