The kids are all so very happy with what they have. C has already given a fashion show.
The sun is shinning and it is a beautiful Christmas day.

No. One was started yesterday and the other didn't actually say daily and I assumed it was just a Merry Christmas from RTL.

I got a new watch, 2 pairs of slippers, a Kitten calendar, two Tervis tumblers, a bottle of Jim Beam, a Vera Bradley laptop case and a new address book.

With so many humongus pick-up trucks here in south Texas, backing out of a parking spot can be really hazzardous. DH got me back-up beepers! Two of them! One for each vehicle. And to go with the car, he got me 4 matching hubcaps to replace the two that were missing - my car looks new again!
He hasn't been thrilled with the performance of the TV in the kitchen, so he replaced it! And set it up!
But the piece d' resistance was the dress he got for me to wear Christmas Eve! Apparently, he brought a couple of outfits that FIT to Catherine's (a plus-size store) and he put together a 3-piece dress that is absolutely what I would have chosen! Its black, with an easy-fit knit skirt (floor length, and it doesn't need shortening), a crinkle top with a modest amount of black sequins, and a crinkle jacket - and the sleeves are short enough! I have sparkly black flats that went perfectly with my dress. Gotta love that guy for wanting me to look great at church when we rang the bells for Christmas Eve services.
But the best gift of all was the birth of our savior Jesus Christ!
Love and blessings to all our Geeks - may you have a happy and prosperous year!

Sounds like you win Christmas. Merry Christmas!

Mawmaw and C's boyfriend will both be here in about an hour.
That's ok though.
But I wont lie, I am counting down the minutes until brother and his kid leave.
5 days is long enough.

At 22 and 26 years old, they seem to be incapable of planning anything.
I talked to DS2 yesterday: the plan was Christmas dinner tonight about 6:00.
I called this morning & drove over for a visit with Itty bitty, who had been dropped off by her mom. DS1 tells me there is NO dinner tonight after all. It's tomorrow. DH and I are both working and that is Christmas with HIS kids & grandkids.
I just sent them both a text, asking if we could change the dinner.

What the heck? I can't believe he changed it at the last second! What was his excuse for no dinner tonight?

"We didn't go to the grocery yesterday."
DH won't mind going to deliver presents without me, but I'm tired of this.
I love them both, of course.
DS1 was insisting that we had to open presents TODAY. He'll get over it.
Good news! SS's mother is bringing him back way earlier than expected. I called DN and let her know and she wanted to come over tonight and open gifts. We said sure and we threw the casserole in to cook and are now finishing up small things. I may take a short nap. Everyone should be here by 7:30 for dinner and gifts!

Merry Christmas to all my Geeks!!! lol. I had a wonderful Christmas. I got a Hot Tools curling iron from my daughter which I love. My SO really spoiled me again. Let's see... I got a silky pajama set from Victoria's Secret, a Walking Dead calendar (that was a joke... more for him than me. It's hanging in the garage..), I got an Aerogarden! and a Kid Rock Christmas ball for my tree, a Kid Rock shot glass, Salt and Pepper mills, Sea Salt and Peppercorn Rainbow mix to go in them, and a wonderful fabulous ASPCA necklace. LOVE it after all I've been through with me Kiddie Rock this year.
Pic of my salt and peppa shakers. They are beauties.
And my Kid Rock ball for my tree... what's a tree without this?!
Front and back...
And a pic of my necklace... it was hard to take a good pic, but yes folks... that is a kitty in there!
My parents traveled to Italy this year, so my gift was a hand-made leather purse! It's beautiful! A milk-chocolate brown with silver accents. And 10 euro inside . . . that's worth what, $50 Canadian? lol.
My stocking from them was also Italian goodies - espresso pods, a pocket calendar from Florence, handmade paper note cards with my initial on them. My beautiful gifts from my Geek SS (Dona) were a highlight of my morning (yes - I was up at 5am opening gifts . . . )
My work SS got me a book of Readers Digest jokes (they're so cheesy! Love it!) and a Starbucks card. My landlord dropped by a box of chocolates (my first box of Pot of Gold all to myself! I don't have to share with anyone! I'm already halfway through it - it's been a week . . .).
Even the pooch got in on the action with two bags of treats (one to calm him down - interesting choice, given my dog's anxiety issues) and a squeaky Santa toy.
Thank you! I love that necklace so much. And I love being surprised. Never would of thought he would pick something like this out for me. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
ooooh, I got a new Cricut Expression with 2 cartridges. I got a TARDIS shower curtain and towel set and a giant cardboard cutout of the TARDIS. I got some Firefly stuff. Money.
2 Pandora charms. A sweater. A beautiful scarf and teacup:)
Jewelry: Necklace and matching earrings...not sure the stone, but they are purple from the Smithsonian collection...a hard drive thingy to save my photos from the old computer..a trig or something? A new wireless mouse, two sweaters, a top, two scarves, booze, a pedicure thingy that is supposed to smooth my feet, a veggie spiral thingy, new turkey prongs (mine broke on Thanksgiving), and some other stuff I can't remember right now...

Oooo I got my daughter a Cricut a few years ago for Xmas. We had some fun with that. I went to the fantasy superbowl that year and I faced my fiance in it. He woke up the next morning to this... all thanks to Cricut. He was the Trashmen, I am the Pecker Wreckers.... all male league except for me. I won!
I got 4 pillows for my bed. I got spoiled in the hospital with tons of pillows. Also got gloves, some money, gift cards, a toaster, mixing bowls (from my 13 year old nephew who helped make Christmas candy this year - he came up with the idea on his own and went yesterday to get them!) Also got oven mitts and a couple of spatulas, and a costume jewelry bracelet.
Nothing here. But was not expecting anything. It's just a regular day for me. No other plans for the day.
I hope you enjoyed the day. Sometimes when DD is with her father on a Holiday and my other family members are spread out I take the day and go hiking and enjoy the serenity. I love doing that.

I hit out of the park with both kids this year. They both were so thrilled with what they received.
DS got me a Bose Solo 15 sound system for the TV/stereo system; it is unbelievable! And it came with a real universal remote that replaces 3 remotes. It literally controls all my electronics. DD got me a new commuter mug. I also got a few gift cards and PJ's.
It was such a nice day.

Turns out I am getting my brother and his kids all the way to Sunday.
I am not thrilled about this.
I will HAVE to get out of this house.

I am so excited that everyone had a great holiday! It sounds like we all got exactly what we wanted. Except for flan's changing plans...sorry sweetie. I hope you enjoyed your time with Itty Bitty when you saw her.
I got some books I wanted, a candle from a shop in Brooklyn that I love from DD, €20 from my mom for our trip to Ireland this summer, a Michael Kors bracelet from DH, and money. Also, my Aunt buys us a pewter Christmas ornament from a local artist every year. We now have quite a few and a special tree just for them. It's one of my favorite traditions.
We also took professional family pics on Tuesday with my parents and the girls. They came out wonderfully!
Hope everyone has time to recover and digest all the good food. Enjoy the rest of the night !

Uh-oh... what can you do? Is there anything that sounds feasible, appointment-wise, to give you some breathing room?
Nope. Not a thing.
And now nephew is throwing up. I tell brother to use the Lysol after nephew comes out of the bathroom and say something like we don't the flu and brother pipes up with "you want me to make him sleep outside?"
No brother. You are the one with the doctorate, figure it out.
He gets all puffy and starts talking about if it were one of mine.
I say "If it were one on mine, I'd spray the bathroom with Lysol when they got done. Now spray it down." And just walked off.
I swear.
I am going to have to figure something out though. I don't know what. But this is getting on my last nerve.
