We don't usually have snow when it's 70 degrees. How are you pulling that off? Are you Santa?

Wash the mattress casings, wipe down the corners and edge of floors to pick up anything that might have been missed with the damp mop, vacuum the crevices of his bed frame, etc. He seems to be worse when he goes to bed.
I am awake, but I want to go back to sleep. I didn't get to bed until about two, and I was exhausted, still feeling it
Not sure what our plans are. My sister and BIL went to church with his mom, nephew is still here, I think. I haven't ventured upstairs to see what everyone else is up to. Hoping for a quiet day - doubt that will happen with a 5- year- old lol
We are in the car and headed home. At approx 2:30 I will be waving to Flan as we pass through. Mom and Dad are sad to see us go. But we took over the house and Mom is a neat freak so I am betting she is somewhat relieved. She will have all the sheets and towells washed and put away and the carpets swept before we cross the state line I bet.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Poor thing. Do you think he will ever grow out of it a bit, or will he always have to be that diligent with cleaning?
Mr.VoR leaves today. Well, he leaves at about 3 in the morning. So, we will be getting his truck ready to go. Clean bedding, groceries, do our bills. And football this afternoon!

Lesson learned in February: I don't have to keep up, I just have to keep moving!
I just get out of the shower and get roped into a game of candy land - still in my bathrobe. Then, nephew decides we need to act out Mario Brothers. I told him sure! Corgi will be Bowser and I'll be Princess Toadstool held captive by Bowser in the basement. He agreed and I get to put on pants 😀

Thanks FWM. So far its not bad - DD is hungry so we will be stopping soon. Sigh. I hate stopping. Lol
DD is also allergic to dust mites. She was terrible as a child but outgrew a good portion of it by age 12 or so. I hope for a similar outcome for your DS. Wash the pillows yet? If is cold where you are you can put the pillows outside in the cold to kill the mites - it's a tip I learned in Minnesota, they all do it here midwinter. All the bedding goes outside on the line.

Sorry to hear this. Kinda makes you want to install of those hazmat tents doesn't it?
Don't forget the stuffed animals and things.
Praying he feels better soon.

It has rained all night. It was great for sleeping. I think I might need a little more sleep.
My brother and his kids left yesterday after our family gathering. I love them but goodness, it was time for them to go.
The house is almost back to rights and it is peaceful again.
A out grew the dust mite thing. Now he still cant be in extremely dusty situations still but I don't have to do the all out cleaning everyday now.
Hope everyone enjoys their day.

We're having Christmas dinner tonight. DN and Sparkly will be coming over. DH is frying the turkey. There is not much left for me to make. I have made three cakes in the last two days.

We have left overs from the last three days that have to be eaten.
So we can go as simply as a sandwich or as elaborate as a full on Christmas dinner or anywhere in between.

My life is almost organized. Bedroom is clean and tidy - even the baseboards! Ikea side-tables are built and in place. Dining room is clean and organized. Christmas is tidy and will be put away tomorrow night. Laundry is almost done and the goal is to fold it all before leaving to visit my aunt and uncle. Watching a movie and working on a new scarf pattern I found online. Making a pretty light-weight sparkly scarf. Super easy, four rows repeating. Sadly, my ball of yarn is 10 meters too short for the actual pattern. I'll have to see the length before I decide to pick up another ball of this . . .
Church service was awesome! We did parent child dedications, 19 kids were dedicated today! And then. It snowed. From the ceiling! The kids loved it. Our pastor is great he made the theme of the service "frozen" so we had songs and a film clip and all the kids were really involved. The true message was about heaving a frozen heart. Just went to goodwill and scored this!
Still not sure if it's real but if it isn't it's a damn good fake.
It probably is real. I use to get my Claiborne's from there.
C worked at Salvation Army this past summer, she came in with a big name bag. I cant remember right now what it is. And she said they always got Coach, Prada and Bradley bags. She said it pays to go every day.
OK so J is opening some of his Christmas gifts to actually use them now. He only opens one thing at a time, now he takes the wrapping off to see what he got but he only opens one thing at a time to use or play with it.
Right now it is the retro Atari. He is a bit of a coinsurer of sorts when it comes to games. He still has a few things stacked in the corner of his room he probably wont mess with for another week or two.

It was funny because three guys were walking around the store looking for things to buy and resell. When they pushed a new cart out from the back room I just happened to be close so I took a quick look and saw 2 coach bags on the bottom shelf. I picked both of them up and stepped away to look at them. The other one was definitely authentic but it was dirty and not really my style so I put it back. The oldest junker kept giving me dirty looks while I walked around holding the bag.

Msrock, the picture is beautiful!
NAOW, you have Christmas put away already? Wow! I won't start until after Epiphany.
Somebody gave me a tummy bug... I'm not happy about it.
It's cold. It's going to snow a bunch tonight. And I'm not in the best of moods today.
Whine over.
Hope you all are having a great weekend.

Yes, I'm over it once Christmas is done and ready to have my house back to normal. Plus, with DD's birthday on the 4th, I like to have everything put away before then.

It's just raining here. We dodged a bullet with this weather pattern or would have been snowed in.
As for the Christmas stuff, we will slowly deconstruct everything and have it all put away by New Year's Eve.

We won't take down our decorations until way after the New Year. Sometimes I like having them up for my bday.
My double chocolate peppermint cheesecake is made. So is my peppermint poke cake. I tried a new recipe for broccoli and cheese casserole. It called for butter then some spices and then milk and cheese. I had leftover cream from another recipe so I substituted cream for the milk. I hope it comes out good. And I used leftover buttermilk in my green bean casserole. That stuff doesn't get used up normally so I tried to put it to use. We'll see how it turns out.

It's very pretty Msrock! Czech I hope you feel better quick! Is it too early to whine about having to go to work tomorrow? I have to leave an hour early so I can meet roof guy for my estimate. Really really don't want to get those numbers.
