I have dark hair on my legs. If I had the money I'd do laser hair removal.

I've never had to shave my legs. Genetics.

For a while I had to shave at least every 3 days. But then I could go for a week at a time.

In the winter, I would only shave when I wore a dress.

Now I shave when it starts getting on my nerves or I am going to the doctor.

Same here. I don't get it.

It's really not all about zombies.  It's about the relationships people develop under severe stress and never dreamed of circumstances.  It's about how they cope and manage to find themselves and some semblance of life and happiness along the way.

 I am SO jealous.

DD has been shaving since kindergarten. Her legs were ridiculously hairy. Poor girl looked like a gorilla.

I don't have to shave my armpits though. I don't grow hair there.

I hate Star Trek, Star Wars, and pretty much anything with Star in front of it. I hate almost every sci fi movie ever made.

I also hate Forrest Gump. That and Big made me hate Tom Hanks. It wasn't until the one about being stuck on a deserted island that I started liking him again. I'm still wary of his work.

I love Walking Dead - for no good reason.

Seinfeld was a stupid show.

Gwenyth Paltrow I can deal with. it's Uma Thurman I don't get . . .

My first loaf of gluten free cinnamon raisin bread was a complete flop. So was my first from scratch recipe for gluten free bread. I've been successful with the mixes but I want to master a from start recipe. I have one in the break maker. We will see if I am a failure again.

DD has met both. She says Gwenyth is a major pain in the ass (not the reason I hate her, but it didn't help her cause) and Uma is super nice and very genuine. If that helps at all.

But yeah, Forrest Gump sucks donkey balls.

Very. I don't like the way she and Oprah try to dictate how we should live our lives. It's easy to say what they say when they have people to cook, clean, etc for them. They have no idea how difficult it is in the "real world".

I would say more on this thread if it was in the Break Room.

Either way, here or there, is fine with me.

I think people are being funny and light so far because the thread is on the open board.

In the Break Room it might start getting more revealing and serious.

I can adjust to either.

I was bored & these types of threads can be fun, but if there is a need for it to take a serious turn, then...life happens.

Can't wait! Love the little girls but Abbey and the moms are nuts.

I've discovered the the loudest screamers on Maury are most likely accusing the wrong man.

Gwenyth was in a film called "Sliding Doors," which is quirky & a great love story.

I also liked "Shakespeare in Love."

I did like Chloe and Christi.  And, Abby was just obnoxious to them.  I think the show should focus a bit more on the actual dancing and the girls instead of so much on the Mama drama.  I mean, I like that part too but Abby should draw the line between being nasty to the moms and not treat her own girls like that.  But, I think Abby does know her stuff.  I liked her Studio Rescue show that was on too.

I am being a bitch about going back to work. I fully recognize that I CHOOSE to lose my career (a career that I was AMAZING at and was 110% fulfilled by) when I married my military husband.

But after being out of the work force for 7 years, the odds of me getting anything close to what I did are nil and, well its been so long and I am so out of the loop, I would have to do a ****ton of work to catch up...I just don't want to do it.

But I know that I HAVE to at least start working part time at something so I do not lose my SSDI (were something to happen). Blah to retail.

Chole is so beautiful and elegant. She looks like a true dancer. If Abby promoted her like she does Maddy she would be far more successful. Maddy is a good dancer but she doesn't have the long lines like Chloe.

I liked working retail.

What I didn't love was the schedule. Travel at the holidays and a retail job don't mix well. And the pay. If I didn't have to actually live on what I made, it would be ok. When it was a second job for extra money, I very much enjoyed myself

There are a few I could take or leave.  And I HATE The Hunchback of Notre Dame - that was terrible.  But, some of them are just fabulous and I loved them before I had children.  Toy Story is absolutely divine.
