Today is the first day of my newly imposed schedule I need to get used to since my classes are all online. I still work on Tues/Thurs. On M/W/F, the plan is to get up when DH leaves for work and workout. Take an hour to do any housework that needs to be done and prep for dinner. Get cleaned up and start with school work for the rest of the day until DH comes home.

That requires discipline that I wouldn't have.

I made it through the first day back at work. My voice is still wonky and I feel icky. I am so glad to be home and I am loving my new crockpot! Chili is ready to eat when we are ready for dinner. So awesome!

I've got to take a trip to the pharmacy but first I have to roll DH out of bed. He stayed up till seven am again. This is becoming normal. I hate it.

What is he doing that keeps him up all night? Video games?

If he was doing something important, you'd be up with him.

The real challenge is, finding out who deliberately pocketed one piece to drive everyone else bonkers.

Hint: if one person is laughing about it, instead of actually searching, you have a suspect.

Which is why I am trying to get into this routine now before classes start on the 21st.  I am trying very hard NOT to stay in the lazy routine.

Today, I got up and tried to get into three different workout videos.  They all were either annoying or not beginner like they supposed to be.  Put dinner (short ribs) in the InstaPot on slow cook.  Then I surfed online for a while. and threw in a load of laundry.  Went to the chiropractor.  After I got home from that, I steam mopped the kitchen and bathroom.  Took dinner out of the InstaPot and added stuff to make split pea soup on presser cook.  Hung laundry load from this morning and put another in the washer.  Folded the three loads of laundry from the weekend and put it away.  Separated the split pea soup into containers to take to Bossman tomorrow as his Holiday present.  Cleaned up all dishes from yesterday and today.  Now, I am waiting for DH to get home so we can eat dinner.  Trying to decide if I want to try cooking rice in the InstaPot to go with dinner.

I am really liking the InstaPot.  It's a 7 in 1 cooker and works great.  It's going to become my newest obsession until I get bored with it.  I hope I don't get bored with it.

Is 430pm too late for a nap? I totally missed my nap today.

Also, my haircut went good. Nothing too hardcore, but at least I came out better than I went in! (downside; looking in a mirror on my birthday for over an hour made me realize how old I look.)

Oh, puuuuleeeeeezzzzz!  You're just a kid, tig!

Besides, don't you know about that salon thing?  I don't know what it's called, but most women hate the way they look in the salon mirror.  My hair stylist agrees - all her clients tell her that!  I always run home and look in my OWN mirror, and then I feel much better.  smile
