My car has a new thing where it randomly stalls out while I am driving it.
I think I may have water in my fuel tank.

How much gas is in your tank?  You could try adding some dry gas.

Succulent Saturday! Sounds like a good steak.

Perhaps that's what we'll eat tonight for half-time supper while we're watching the Pats beat the Ravens.

Have a great day everyone, and stay warm!

I was on a bus with the team by 5:45am today. DD has an 8:00am game in Minneapolis and it's easier to catch a ride on the bus than it is to drive myself. And since it was so early, the girls were nice and quiet. 😴

She has 2 games and then it's back home. Hopefully we hit up a Starbucks this afternoon.

I miss my warm bed!

Have a great day everyone!!

Up. Kitchen cleaned. Living room picked up. Bedroom vacuumed. Need to hop in the shower and then meet roof guy at lowes at 9:30.

Did the check engine light come on? If so, there will be trouble code(s) stored in the computer.

Can you tell  us more about the car? Make, model, year, mileage?

Stalling is always caused by either lack of fuel or lack of spark ... in the olden days.

Now it can also be caused by a faulty sensor, a loose or frayed wire, a battery that's on its' last legs.

Does it stall while you're driving along, or while the car is stopped? While the car is fully warmed up, or when it's just been started and is still warming up?

When you're driving, do you hear or feel any misfiring, or is the engine purring like a kitten then suddenly is gone?

I had a car once that would be fine, then would stall at high speed on the Interstate. It needed a new gas filter.

This is very frightening.

This as I recall is a repair, not a whole new roof?

If it's a whole new roof, you should know ahead of time, what color you want.

Also ask whether he plans to add any new vents to the roof. (The people who installed my roof added two UGLY black vents through the roof. I had to have them take them away, which left a hole in the wood under one spot.)

YES! Go Ravens! (Even though it pains me to say that). And then Go Seahawks tonight! The boy and I will be on our respective couches watching football biggrin

I should probably get out of bed and take a shower. I slept for nearly 12 hours. Sigh, I hate when I do that

I can see right through you, flannie! You're no Ravens fan. You just don't like Tom Brady, so you'll root for whatever team is opposing him.

Go Pats!

If I lie down with knees up, it's not too bad. Can't sit or bend over or lift anything. Can walk very slowly.

Ben Gay is my friend.

I've had these before. Hopefully a day or two of rest will take care of it.

The damage is worse than expected. You should see some of the wood, it's crumbly. It's due to that darn oak tree that the city won't let me cut down! I'm getting a headache from all the banging.

We do, a few times a year. It just grows so fast. It's really close to the house. People up the street cut two down and got in trouble with the city.

So for the first game, because it was so early...the heat wasn't on in the building yet! You could see your breath!!! Unreal.

We went to Starbucks after so I got my fix and warmed up. Now it's back for another game in the igloo. ⛄️

Ok I have to say that I really have great friends. DS came to visit and we went to a friend's house, he had lots of firewood for the taking. Wouldn't let me load my car up, we loaded his truck and he brought it to my house. it's all cut, split wonderful firewood. Would have cost me about $250 had I had to buy it. I will have to stack it, but that is for another day. I cleaned my fire place out and still need to grocery shop and hunker down for the game.

Blankie, I hope your back gets better quick. Can you see the TV lying on your back? Have your DH nail it to the ceiling.

LOL! I can see it. I'll be lying on the dog bed on the floor, with my knees up. Great view of the TV. Go Pats!

I got my first professional hair cut in about 5 years today. I've been wearing wigs, until the last one was ruined when I got sick. So I haven't had a wig for the last 3 months. I really like what she did but I don't think I can duplicate it. I hate that. I don't have a flat iron, or hair spray or the type of comb she used. So my hair will look nice today, and maybe tomorrow, then look like crap again.

I hate when that happens. The last time I went to a new stylist I told her what my capabilities are hair wise and said I don't want a cut I can't style myself. She did awesome and I've been going to her ever since.

Get yourself a flat iron.  I bet with everything you have been through, your hair has changed, it that you need to re  learn to style it.  Maybe even ask the stylist for some tips.

She did show me what she did, and even explained what size and type of flat iron to get. It just floored me that you can basically curl hair and give it volume with a flat iron. But it needs to be done over my whole head. I don't like to do my hair everyday, so we'll see how easy this is.

Hair is hard to style as WE get older.  Need lots of products and such.  I feel your pain.  My hair looks great right now because I had a hair app't this morning.  Even in a pony tail it looks awesome.  Tomorrow, same thing.  Monday, well, not so good.
