My sister wants to go in on a big gift for DN's baby shower. I'm at a good place financially and wanted to spend a little more. Sis isn't this time. We got a great hotel rate. I am driving and probably won't spend that much since gas is so cheap. She is flying and renting a car so I understand her not wanting to spend as much. I don't want to out do her, I wouldn't mind paying a bigger part of the gift. I just need a way to do it without her knowing it....

 Yes, I'd take Monday off, but I wouldn't be able to leave until Saturday. In my job, we have to close the month, so i wouldn't be able to leave work early enough on Friday to make a flight

Sounds like the Flu. Pedialyte is good. 

For an alternative, get some regular (real) coca cola, and pour a few ounces back forth between two glasses to get the carbonation out.

The sugar helps for energy, and my kids were good with it.

 I have a plan. We go in on something big and I say I am having a basket made and lie about what it cost.

One of the girls is very slight. She was petrified and near tears on the court but we got her through. Baby steps. :)
