So why should we believe Indianapolis has a legitimate chance to steal a victory? Luck, for one. They have the best young quarterback in the game, a maestro in the pocket who makes more "wow" throws and stretches more defenses than any other passer.
I've seen those. My cousin (the only other colts fan in town) sent me a picture of a shirt that said "Luck beat a Brady tonight" a la Guys and Dolls lol
Yes. People do. I enjoy watching professional football. I do not hold the stike against the players anymore than I hold their strike against the guys I work with.

And, that's your choice, DG.
I, will never watch those spoiled, over paid, idiots, again.
I love football. During regular season, I watch it all day on Sunday. I've watched every playoff game AND... I will be rooting for the Colts tomorrow. Too bad for them. lol! They're only overpaid to you. It's the fans choice whether they want to spend the money or not. Apparently they do. Not fair to call them idiots either. Maybe some... but you get that in every profession.

And, that's your opinion, msrock. I respect that.
I refuse to watch them, making their millions, can't pass a drug test. Driving drunk. Beating their wives to a pulp. Caught on tape.
Sorry, if it weren't for the Beer Companies, I don't think they would even be on our radar.
I wouldn't spend a dime, to go to go to a Pro a game.
FWM-you can't lump all the players in with the few bad ones. Every profession has some bad apples. But a majority of the players do great things for their communities

Yes I can, and, it goes back, many years, DG.
I kept watching, after the first time, they went on strike. I got smart, the second time around.
I won't give them, the time of day, anymore.
That is my choice.
If you want to watch them, by all means, have at it.
Most of them pass drug tests. Most of them don't beat their wives. You know regular people don't pass drug tests, regular people drive drunk, and some beat their wives in the real world. I don't get why a few NFL players are bothering you so much. Ray Rice didn't beat his wife to a pulp. He punched her one time in that elevator and knocked her out. He was fired. In the real world, if Joe Schmo did that... he'd still have a job to go to on Monday morning. There are a lot of good, decent people that play in the NFL. Watch A Football Life sometime. You'd be amazed.

Back when I was a kid, this wasn't even a question. Pro players had some honor. They played for peanuts, by todays standards.
I won't watch them, anymore.
Beer companies, keep them in business.
I guess I'm old. I won't make excuses for Pro football players, or Pro players in any sport. If you can't stay clean, shame on you.
You had the world by the ass, and you threw it away.
Go ahead, go on strike, when your average fan, can't afford to take his/her family, to a game.
I'm trying to decide if I want to go out to watch the game. We have a local sports bar that has pretty good food and is one of my favorite restaurants in town. I was thinking about asking my cousin (only other colts fan in the county) if she wanted to go out and watch th game. The draw back is, my cousin just isn't much fun sometimes. So I'm torn.

That is tough.
I guess you could watch with Vette?

No matter where I watch, I'll be texting with Vette and the boy. That's a given. And of course posting here :)

Okay, then pick up food from the sports bar & watch from home!!
I don't care who wins and I probably won't watch the game. I've tried for many years to develop an interest in popular sports of any kind, with little or no success.

There - my secret is now out in the open.
No problem. I've always enjoyed football...a perfectly thrown spiral or a long run...Those are exciting!
It's ok HM, we still love you. And you can root for the colts, we will take you in. We're nice like that.
Well, I texted cousin. But she's out of town at her sisters. Which she hasn't mentioned the last two days while we've been texting. Oh well. Now decisions. Go into town or not? I'll probably just stay home and watch the game. I think I have a bag of Doritos I can eat
