Not exactly. If the first possession of either team is a touch down, the game is over. If the first team gets a field goal, the second team gets a chance. If neither score, they keep playing like normal.

Happy Superbowl Sunday Geeks! I've been preparing food all day. I've got a beef roast in the crockpot that I'm going to use for Italian Beef sandwiches. I'm going to slice it up and serve on crusty rolls and top them with some mozzarella and baby bella sauteed mushrooms and pop them in the oven to melt the cheese... served with the au jus. Veggie tray is made. I chopped up some red onion, jalepenos and garlic for the Avocado salsa that I'm going to make right before kickoff. Potato's are baking in the over for my restaurant-style potato skins. lol. I've got chicken wings too, but I don't know if I'm going to make them. The snow is coming down! Don't know if anyone is going to make it over here so we might be eating all this stuff alone. Oh... and jello shots are chillin in the garage fridge.

I'm going to have to root for Seattle today. But my SO will be rooting for the Patriots. aww
