Happy Superbowl Sunday Geeks! I've been preparing food all day. I've got a beef roast in the crockpot that I'm going to use for Italian Beef sandwiches. I'm going to slice it up and serve on crusty rolls and top them with some mozzarella and baby bella sauteed mushrooms and pop them in the oven to melt the cheese... served with the au jus. I'm going to have to root for Seattle today. But my SO will be rooting for the Patriots.

No.  They pretty much taste like jello ... made with vodka. lol   These sandwiches are an experiment.  I never made them this way before.  I'll let you know how they turn out.  I got the base recipe from allrecipes.com.  I love that site!

Actually, we're having some good ol' comfort food. Mac and cheese with sausage.

Forgoing another party to be at home and comfy, stretched out with enough room. 

DD has 4 Patriots outfits for Little Man for today. He's already drooled and spit up his way through one of them.

I have decided not to go to the superbowl parties invited to because I am storm weary. The storm isn't anticipated to start until after midnight, but I've had to do some much storm clean up this week and preparation for tomorrow, I just want to relax tonight. I plan on making brushetta, perhaps a pizza and that is it. Will see what DD wants when she gets home.

Oh! And I will be bringing all my food making and fireplace to the Geek Bar. See you all at 6:30.

Weinie winks slathered in honey BBQ sauce simmering in a crock pot, two large pans of meatballs smothered in red sauce baking in the oven, two chip dips ready for chips. DD is bringing jello gigglers and taco dip.
