Gosh Blankie, so sad.

Sorry you have the infection TLC but glad the insurance is worked out. Having that burden lifted well make you feel better too.

Dinner tonight was warm, creamy beef and pasta, a spring mix salad with tomatoes and croutons and toasty garlic bread.

Now I need something for dessert. Maybe a cookie or two.

Saw we might have little ice and snow this weekend. Yuck.

 I can't believe you just said that!  I had some 4 day old really good bread in my fridge, left over from a spectacular meal the other night, had to do something with it before it went moldy.  So I made french toast tonight.  Didn't eat it but it's good for my breakfasts for the next couple of days.

I don't like Firehouse. They always mess up my order and the bread is always soggy.

I use eggs, cream, a little sugar, some vanilla, dash of cinnamon and nutmeg.

I do too.

But I use milk instead of cream and I don't like nutmeg.

It always tastes flat.

But I love it when I go out.

 Me too but I sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on one side of the bread.  The cream is key.

Dr Davidson leaves a wife, 7 months pregnant and 3 other young children. This is so sad. I just hope his wife is helped through this time and years to come by the family and friends.

 No, they will never know the true reason.  The doctor treated his mother but she died last month.  He was very close to her but didn't seem overly upset about it, guess he was and snapped.  He killed himself after shooting the doctor.
