I remember the McD's parties. It was after I was a teenager though. One of my younger cousins had a party at one. It was nice. The kids loved it and I think they each got a box of cookies and little toy.
They had the most fun playing on the playground.
O4, she said up thread that they take 2 gifts.
I was just wondering, because when I invited siblings to parties, they never brought 2 gifts and I would have been shocked if they did. That makes no sense to me.

When my kids were all invited to the same party I would get different gifts most of the time. But of course that meant I couldn't get 3 $20 gifts. I was a single mom and couldn't spend that much on a gift.
So the kid got 3 $10 gifts.
Some times, if it was something nice and all the kids wanted to get it for the birthday kid, I could spend more on one gift and they give it together.
But all the kids had to agree that is what they wanted to do.
If it offended someone, well, I couldn't help that.
