I have more hair than any human should ever have. I can't even put it in a ponytail without getting a massive headache. I'm growing it back out though. Short hair does not suit me...

Good morning. Dishes done, shower done, hair done. This hair is challenging! It's falling out but it's still really long. At what age does one look pathetic with long hair? I have visions of looking like an old indian woman with silver braided hair that brushes the ground. Except I'm irish, never had a grey and my hair is so thin my braids look like pippy longstocking. I'm obviously delusional.

Hey!! I LIKE the old Indian woman look! That is me!!! Go look at my facebook picture again!!! It's tied back, but it's almost down to my waist. I love it long.

If you like it, keep it. smile

If it was that, I would call it "my precious".

As it is, it works even better if you stand with your back to it and hold a hand mirror so you can see, well... behind you.  biggrin

The wrinkles don't bother me as much as the eye puffiness.

Cleaned out my fire place. Just put another fire on. I will have tons of laundry to do in a bit since I just sent DD to her room to CLEAN. Still snowing...

Gorgeous day again - 50 degrees. I went grocery shopping by myself for the first time since probably September before I got sick. I'm exhausted. Still need to change bedding and do a few loads of laundry. Got groceries put away. I forgot a few things, some I just didn't feel like going back and getting. By the time I made it to the frozen stuff, my body was done.

Nah, it's wet and heavy to shovel. I think you're better off without it.

I'll send you some fluffy stuff when we get that.

This!  But, I've learned if I put all dairy together, freezer stuff, fridge stuff, pantry stuff and baking stuff in separate bags, getting it put away is pretty easy.  Sometimes I put the whole bag of vegies in the crisper without even unpacking them.

We have a store about 20 miles from me offers a service where you go online and submit your grocery order, then on a specific day of the week, you can go and pick it up for a 10.00 fee. Might be worth it. They also have a fuel saver card that you can get so much off per gallon of gas on a lot of items. So the 10.00 might be worth it.

Watched Steel Magnolias. Is it wrong to distinguish that it was the black version? I don't know how else to say it.

It was good. Moving. All the parts that made me cry in the first made me cry in this one.

But they left out a lot. Changed a lot. Did things in different places. I don't know. It was like the Reader's Digest version.

But it is still my ugly cry movie.

Good luck with all the snow, Blankie and IKWTDS.

I don't miss it.wink

Wayne and I went to the Stock Show. I never saw so many different kids of chickens in my life! Some of them looked like something out of this world!

I will try to post some pictures later.

I'm just too tired to do it, right now.

Darn tennis is gonna be death of me.no

Oh it rained (frozen) for about 1/2 hour and now it's snowing again. Will have to put salt down tonight on the driveway. DD will not be going to her father's is my guess. The roads will be bad. We are playing crazy 8's with some awesome Harry Potter cards I bought at Universal. Next up hot air popcorn! I love snow days!

DH and I tend to shop Winco now that we have one up the street and you bag your stuff there. Love it!

It's beautiful here today. Supposed to beautiful again tomorrow so I think that's why DH wanted to grill steaks. Thanks IKWTDS. His favorite meal is steak and baked potatoes. Not surprised that's what he finally chose.

I have a bittersweet dark chocolate cheesecake in the oven baking now. I stole FWM's nut crust idea. She helped me so we will see how it goes. If it goes well I owe her all the credit!

Happy anniversary NJN. How many years is it?

C gave my a pedicure. I have pretty toes again.

We are all just hanging out doing our own thing tonight.

We have another chance at some snow between now and Monday. It wont stick if we do.

I do need to go to the store for some light bread and cokes. Yes. Cokes.

I really want something warm and gooey and chocolaty.

Thanks Lily. Six years tomorrow. Seems weird. I met him when the original MM was still up. Everyone predicted we wouldn't be together a year and it would fail. Husker gave me so much crap about it. But here we are six years later. flan can attest to the drama that went down!

My cheesecake is going to be yummy. I'll drop some in the mail to you Lily when I drop SB some.

We're going to play board games and have popcorn and movies.

Well, I hope it's good. It's a new recipe. Bittersweet dark chocolate cheesecake topped with raspberries and blackberries and then a white chocolate ganache drizzled over it. SS has some candy X's and O's to put on it. I used FWM's nut crust recipe so I hope this comes out good!

I slept for 20 hours. 8pm last night to 3pm this afternoon. I'm a little shocked - it didn't feel like that. When I crawled out of bed, I could see that it was light outside and guessed somewhere around 9am. I triple checked the clock when it said 3pm!!

Poor pooch stayed in bed with me the whole time!
