Their reasoning is dumb, but I can't remember even being addressed as Miss, Ms, or Mrs. when I was in college. Everyone was a first name basis. I don't really think it will affect anything.

This is one of the stupidest things EVER. They are ending "gender" salutations. WTF is wrong with being a man or a woman and being addressed as such? What are they going to call them now? Just "Smith" instead of "Mr. Smith"? How the hell is it better to remove the honorific?
