A lot is less than what you would pay at the store.
And there is candy that is hard to find too.
They do treat bags too. You pick the candy, bag and ribbon. They pack it and mail it to you already made.
I like the lunch boxes with the candy.
And 5 lb gummi bears!

Candy cigarettes. I detest smoking and used to go through a pack a day of those things as a kid. Guess that theory failed. Maybe I should buy a whole bunch and hand them out at Halloween so I can be the most un PC person around.

I was exploring the site last night and found the candies my grandparents would get and I cant find. Horehound candy, flavored candy drops. They always had those things at their house.
I am very curious about the anise bears.
Some one ere was talking about the Clark bars. They have them.
and Chicklets and Chick o sticks and Rock candy(my favorite) and all kinds of other candies.
I saw a 10 lb box of nerds at Cracker Barrel about a month ago. They have nerds on this site but I don't know how big they are.

I got a little lost down memory lane perusing that site Lily. I remember so many but Luden's wild cherry cough drops brings back some childhood memories. Thanks for posting this!

FWM - Daffins and not Gorants? Are you from Pennsylvania or Ohio ?
I grew up on Gorants. Are they still around?
When I married Wayne, in 1981, he introduced me to Daffins. (I was from Campbell, Wayne was from West Middlesex. Hermitage, now.)
Daffins , for the win!
Gorants is still around! It's our family favorite. DH is from Hubbard (close to Sharon PA) and I am from Poland so we always got Gorants. When we got married, I introduced him to Gorants and he never looked back! Too funny - just like your story but the opposite! My FIL buys Daffins for us every Easter and we always smile and accept it, then give it away at work. Lol

Really? Gorants is still around?
Where? I go to Campbell every summer? I haven't seen it, in 20 years??????
Hubbard, is the town Wayne and I drove through, on dates. Between Campbell, and Sharon, West Middlesex, Hermitage. PA.
It's in Boardman out on Market St somewhere. And any of the Hallmark stores usually have it. There is one in Struthers in the 5th street plaza that has it. I don't remember where else - been too long since I lived there. And when we did live there, the kids sold it at school for fundraisers for their activities so we never had to go to the shop to get it.
It's the best, imho

It was the best, when I was a kid. We got it, all the time!
Out by the Southern Park Mall?
I jumped ship, after tasting Daffin's.
Both, are really good.
It's been so long, since I've had Gorants.
We would have to do a taste test!
That would be fun, a Geek taste test! Gorants vs. Daffins!
They are both better than anything we can get in Texas.
Have Ya'll seen the retro toys they have? I really wish I had known about it before Christmas. They would be awesome stocking stuffers.

I thought it was a fun site. A little walk down memory lane if nothing else.
