I honestly didn't know there were places that didn't have garbage collection. One city we lived in, it was mandatory and if you didnt call and set up collection, you got a fine, even if you had no garbage on your premises. It's never cost us more than $15 - $30 a month for collection. Interesting.

One of the moms offered to clean up after today's last game so I am now home and ready to take a nap! What a sweetheart she is!

Both of my kids, even though 23 years apart, at their stage in life when they loved to play with lego's quickly learned not to ask Mommy. I get so intent on building the structure that I take it over. I can play with lego's for hours!
Yeah, I'm a bit of a control freak when it comes to leggos too.

I am not a freak! evileye I just enjoy putting the models together correctly.

I could not do that. I give you a lot of credit. My internal clock doesn't start ticking until about 9am at the absolute earliest.

I pay to have my trash picked up. They don't pick up yard debris or recycling and they only come once a week. The rate just went up to $120 a quarter. Not real happy about that. The dump is only about 4 miles from my house but I don't want nags of trash sitting around or having to put them in my car. Especially in the summer. I do drop off my recycling.

That's the cycle I would be on if I didn't work. My body just naturally works better that way. Waking up in the morning has been a struggle my whole life.

I've been off starting work at 5:30 am for a while now. I don't know if I could go back to it. 6:45 is much better but I sure do miss getting off at 2pm.

3 am to 11 am is my normal sleep hours. I work well on that. It's eight hours. Just like most people. With DH off work I don't always get to sleep when I want though.

No work and school tomorrow.

We went snowshoeing this afternoon. Lots of fun and a great workout. The dog loved it.

Wayne doesn't set an alarm. The cats jump him. biggrin

He wakes up, at 4:15am. With a little help, from his friends.

He comes downstairs, and feeds the cats.

He takes Jupiter for a walk.

He gets his shower, and is out the door by 5:15am.

And....he is usually in bed by 7:30pm. biggrin

These cats know better than to mess with me.

If Wayne is out of town on business, they leave me alone until 7 am. At the earliest. smile

You pay for garbage pick up no matter where you are here. City or county.

The neighbors had it for a while. I hated it. The noise was ridiculous. And from what I understand it was rather pricy.

The park across the road has dumpsters that get picked up and slammed back to the ground 3 times a week.

Shoot, that's how kids earn to drive around here. One of the first thing you do when you get a learners is start driving to the dump. And once you get the DL it becomes your job.

I go to bed about 9. I go to sleep somewhere around 12 or 1.

I wake up somewhere around 2 or 3. Sometimes I can go back to sleep. Others I cant. And then I usually wake up again between 4 and 5. Some times I go back to sleep. Some times I don't. I usually give up about 6 or 6:30. I will lay back down about 9 or 10 but I am back up for good about 11:30 or 12.

I have a crazy sleep pattern.

The cats were used to me getting up at 4 and when my shift changed a few months ago they were not happy. If I don't sleep with my bedroom door closed the little suckers bug me until I act like I'm gonna feed them and I shut the door behind them and go back to bed.

Wow! You are getting MORE snow? I'll pray for you, IKWTDS, Blankie and Trudy. 80 inches!!!

Bedtimes....hmm.... okay, whatever works for the individual. I'm usually in bed by 10 p.m., DH goes earlier. We are both up between 5 and 6 a.m. Yup, a good 8 hours works. :)

We DID get to see grand baby today. Rerouted our trip, met at DGF's dad's home in Iowa, visited and came back home. DGF is really sick, poor girl. DS is taking good care of her and the baby. We are all worried baby will get it now as well. Sure hope he doesn't. Sick babies are so worrisome.

DH is already in bed and I'm heading that way in a few minutes. It's been a l o n g day, but a good one.

DH and DGF's dad hit it off really well. They are planning a fish trip. I think they are two of a kind. They loved it here when they visited and want to come again. I think we can make that work. :)

Gosh, if I go to bed now, I will be back up by 4...

IKWTDS, it sounds like you are having a winter like we had about 5 years ago. we got about 60+ inches of snow in one month. Normally we get no more than 20 inches over 3 months. I still remember how horrible that winter was. I feel for you.

I remember that winter as well, tlc. The snow was so deep, that the plows and industrial snow shoppers could not get the roads open. We drove thru tunnels higher then semi-trucks. It was scary. Even the truckers were scared of being enclosed by a falling cliff of snow. And the ice!!!
