It was scary! In town there was nowhere to put snow, so they plowed it to the edge and corners, and there were 10 ft piles of snow right at the corners. You couldn't see if someone was coming or not. I got hit. A lot of people did that winter.

It was the same here. We live on a corner lot and the piles of snow were huge! Everyone's view of traffic was blocked. You had to creep into the corner to turn or cross.
We also had a lot of falls with broken bones that winter. The hospitals were very busy. I was one of them, unfortunately. The day of DGD's birth, Feb 23, I was in a wheelchair. Gosh, that was five years ago this month.
