“You may shoot me with your words, you may cut me with your eyes, you may kill me with your hatefulness, but still, like air, I'll rise!” ― Maya Angelou
A flock of flirting flamingos is pure, passionate, pink pandemonium-a frenetic flamingle-mangle-a discordant discotheque of delirious dancing, flamboyant feathers, and flamingo lingo.
Its been a wonderful day so far! Cloudy, drizzly, foggy in the morning, giving way to brilliant sunshine as we came out of church. DH treated me to Trail Riders, a fantabulous steak house in the next town over. Perfectly done rib eye, with fried okra, and steamed broccoli to die for! (Bright green, well seasoned, and oh so tender! Don't know how they do it!)
Came home to find the most humongous orchid plant waiting for me - beautiful shade between orange and yellow - four stems of blossems! I hope I can keep it healthy.
Went fishing in two of our ponds, so we could get enough perch to put out trot lines for catfish later in the week.
