I've looked at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Sears and JCPenny's. I wasn't impressed with anything at any of those sites.

My baby is still sick. She was able to sleep pretty good last night, but she still has a fever and is already back down for a nap. Poor thing.

Sorry to all the snowed in Geeks. I would send you some if I could.

We count down to Winter break this week. Winter break next week. Then Spring break in April and then out for Summer in May. This school year is almost over.

Hope every one of you have just the best day ever.

A winter break AND a spring break?! Lucky ducks. We don't get either. Just a 4 day weekend for Easter.

We get a Fall, Winter, and Spring break. We also get a Christmas or "Winter holidays" break. We have a few half days scattered in.

We go to school 175 days as opposed to the usual 180.

But we only get about weeks in the Summer. Sometimes not quite the whole weeks. It's a year round schedule.

Thanks, Trudy. I will check it out as well. I'm am amazed by the "sale" prices on all the sights... $54 bucks (for the ones I liked) a panel is ridiculous, IMHO. evileye Especially since I need 14 panels for one room!

Czech - look at Walmart.com. I hate their delivery, but they have tons of drapes and are more reasonably priced than Overstock.com.

Today is wet out, but the snow has really melted. Supposed to have sleet tonight. I was going to go get my drivers license renewed tomorrow, but might not if it's icy.

I got woke up about 4:00 am this morning - my phone was ringing. Looked at it, 402 area code, so no one I know. I almost answered it and screamed "what the hell do you want!?" or "WRONG NUMBER!" but I didn't. I just let it ring. I think I need to start shutting my ringer off again at night. I get spam text messages in the middle of the night periodically, also.

I am so sick right now. Ugh. Last night, I took the first of a new pack of birth control pills. I didn't think to question that they were made by a different manufacturer. It's the same name brand med, that's all I looked at. Well, now I am so sick, I can't keep anything down. Not even water. I had this happen a few years ago when the pharmacy switched which generic they used. There is something in the "fillers" I'm super sensitive to. I am so thirsty I want to cry.

I can see them just fine when I open the thread. This always happens. I copied and pasted them from my e-mail. I don't know how else to do it. Any suggestions?

Blankie, you need to save them to something like Facebook, then post them. They are only in your email, which won't let them show up. They need to be on the internet to show up.

I'm on hold with B&N call center that is obviously outsourced to India or some non English speaking country. They charged me $19 for a book, fine, but when I got it it has a Bargain Books sticker on the front saying the reduced price is $6.97. I cannot make them understand. I don't think the concept of clearance rack makes any sense to them. It is almost not worth the the $12.

The pharmacy should have had your bad reactions on record. I would be more then pissed. Call them and chew them out.

I am glad you are a little better though.

Yeah now I have to take a picture of the book & bargain price & either fax or email it to them.  The thing is they wiped the sticker with a wet towel or something trying to erase the price on the sticker.  I'm a little annoyed.  This book shipped separately from the other three I ordered.  I think it must have been out of stock & it came from the local store.

Look at the page spines of the book - is there a mark along the edges of the pages on the top or bottom?  If so - that is officially a remainder bargain book and they should not have charged full price - use the word "fraud" and tell them you will call the publisher.

Its a new pharmacy. The doctor now writes the script for the specific generic I take and it's never been a problem. But apparently they switched suppliers. I'm waiting on the doctor to call me back about my options. It sounds like the old place isnt making the drug any longer, so that's out. I'm scared to try any other new pills for fear of a repeat of this. I'm normally not a wuss about being sick, but this is horrible.

Barnes and Noble? Wow, that's rotten service.. evileye

Yeah there is a light stripe across the pages.  It isn't black like some.  It almost looks like they did it in pencil instead of a sharpie.  I swear they looked for the best one to send.  I'll keep your advice in mind when I send the email.  Always good to have a lawyer friend!

I think I'm going to have to seriously limit my time with my mother (more than I already have). She made a total fool out of herself this weekend and left me in tears...again...
But I have to take her to a Dr appt Wednesday. I probably need to up my meds...

I'm so sorry, Ohfour.  You deserve better.  Does SHE need more meds?  cry

She's always had a "better than everyone else" complex.  Except now, she has no filter and says whatever comes to her mind. She hurt a lot of people's feelings this weekend. And since I have become the de facto matriarch of my family, I get the phone calls and have to deal with the anger and the tears...

Not for me, either.

I can see them just fine when I open the thread. This always happens. I copied and pasted them from my e-mail. I don't know how else to do it. Any suggestions?

I save them to my desktop, then I upload them from there...

I have them saved on my computer, but can't get them into the post on here. I tried clicking on attach images but that didn't work. PBJ used to have a thread on GT with instructions on how to post a pic, but I don't see it on this board. Oh well. I tried.

after clicking Attach images and then browsing to select the picture you have to click insert, it then asks if you want to insert into the text area, click ok (or yes, can't remember the answer) You have to do each picture one at a time.

Do I really want to spend over $500.00 for drapes?
