I spent $1500 on Luminette drapes for kitchen slider.  So I say go for it.

Mine got destroyed after about 3 years & I had to replace them.  I think I spent about $300 for the replacements.  per panel the prices don't seem bad but they add up when you need multiple panels.

LOL. Our neighbor across the street did that when she first moved into her home. It was not attractive. no

Six months later, she finally bought drapes. Looks much better across the street now. smile

Our big picture window is right across from hers, so yeah, looked at it numerous times a day.. no

Really? I was told that they die in the cold. We even stuck all the bedding outside for a few days to kill off any and it seemed to work.

Wow. They are shutting down the T (metro Boston's public transportation system) at 7:00 tonight. The entire system will be closed tomorrow also.

I haven't seen this happen since the blizzard of '78.

A train got stuck today in a local town. After 2 hours police and firefighters had to rescue all the people and walk them over the third rail to buses.

Trudy, is your T system working where you are? I hope so.

It may kill the live bugs but not the eggs.

And if the neighbors don't treat their yard, you will have to treat repeatedly.

Czech didn't you say you were looking for 14?

That's just 35 for each. So that isn't really that bad.

If you like them, and will like them for years to come, then get them.

Yeah. That happens.

Lowes has some nice drapes. I spent a few hundred for blinds and drapes for the living room but they look nice and have lasted several years already.

Just got an email from a coworker:
Took a couple of Frito's from the bag on your desk. They were stale. I threw them away.

I'm going to pour Frito's all over his office tomorrow.

You should tell him you like stale Frito's and it takes you a week to get them that way.  He now owes you stale Fritos.

Actually the rain helps.  soaks the chemicals into the ground and kills what lurks in the dirt.

I have a freakin' headache from looking at all the sites for drapes, curtains, valances and sheers!!!!

DH frowned a lot when I made him look. biggrin  He now thinks the ones I found in overstock for just over $400 look a lot better then the $500+ ones.

Yeah, I'm sneaky like that. biggrin

Tomorrow morning he will go and whine to DD about all the window cRap I made him look at, then he will tell her what HE wants, she will tell me and we will go from there. Oh, what a tangled web we weave. biggrin
